A good ADS is one you can wear daily without them being abnormally noticeable. Obviously you can check out the Products forum or click on the link in my signature.

Getting gains with an ADS will only work initially if you haven’t done any other form of hanging. They would produce a small amount of gains the first month or two initially then will need to be augmented with heavier hanging weights to perpetuate continuous gains after that.

Permanency can be obtained with a cementing routine which is no more then allowing the body to complete a healing cycle maintaining the length gained with an ADS.

Would you recommend me to do a ADS or stick with the manuel stretches and jelq?

You can continue with your manual stretches and jelqing. They will probably give you more gains but eventually you will probably need to do additional exercises such as light hanging.

Now what will help you in the long run is an ADS used daily in addition to your manual stretches and jelqs with the additional benefit of preparing you for heavier hanging in the future as well as insurance against losses due to interruptions in your daily life that can set you back in gains progress.
