My hard earned gains lost in only 4 days

This is my first post so first I’d just like to say a quick thanks to Thunder and the moderators who donate their time to this community.

I have just taken 4 days of PEing due to the holidays and am heartbroken to find my .3” girth gains disappear almost overnight. I’m interested to know how long it takes to cement gains?

I have now been PEing for 3 months with barely a day missed.

Heeding the advice on the forums I started off slowly to condition myself. I have trouble jelqing so I use a combination of stretching and what I believe you call a horse squeeze, where I get a 80% erection and kegal into it and then basically clamp at the base with the “OK” grip for a 6 x 30 seconds.

I had some early gains in length from 6.75” BP to 7” BP that I put down mainly to improved EQ. I had no improvement in girth at all until recently when I started hanging 2.5lbs for 20 mins most days. At around the same time I also started the horse444 squeeze for 2 x 30 secs every day.

The girth gains came all of a sudden with perhaps a small loss of length but were very consistent. I loved waking in the morning to a chubby dick. .3” really makes a difference in my opinion so I was really pleased with myself.

I am currently on holidays and my girlfriend is with me every day so there are limited opportunities for privacy. I have been doing some quick manual stretches followed by a couple of quick horse squeezes in the shower for maintenance, but alas this not been enough to keep my gains.

Is this typical? EQ remains the same but I have lost all my girth gains. Was the gain caused only by inflammation? Any advice would be appreciated.


Girth measurements can differ quite a bit based on EQ, fluid build up / inflammation, getting a max arousal measurement vs moderate arousal, how long you have been aroused when measuring, hydration, how recently you did girth work, and probably a couple more I’m missing.

Over time, both minimum and maximum girth increase. You might be comparing a minimum measurement (based on all those factors above) to a maximum measurement. But in the long run, both increase. Another effect some guys notice is that girth may decrease a bit during length gains, and vice versa, i.e. the Poisson effect.

In terms of cementing, my experience has been two steps forward, one step back. Part of the gains each time are lost, but part of them stay and become permanent. What if you have a small permanent girth gain that is difficult to measure? Like you are now permanently 0.05” bigger. That’s how PE works in my experience. If you start your routine back up, you may get to a new max girth after a month or two. And then if you take another break, it will retract to a new bigger permanent size. And so on, two steps forward, one step back.

In my opinion girth gains may need constant maintainance.

Length gains seem more easily cemented IMO. Could be wrong.

Also with three months of PE you ain’t gonna cement shit. You will gain, you won’t be able to maintain if you quit.

The veterans should have a word on this.

I find that cementing can take 6-9 months. I know if I’m looking for what’s cemented I take at less two weeks off from PE and measure.

It takes time. Plain and simple. You need to be dedicated. I’ve lost gains in the past in a very short period of time. Now I PE much lighter for longer periods of time before a layoff. Just be patient and keep going.

Thanks for the words of encouragement. I got in 20 mins of hanging yesterday while my girlfriend was out and I am back up to 5.125” MEG from my original 5” so that’s something. I’ll get back into my routine this week so hopefully I get the rest back plus some. Since I started hanging my BPFSL has gone from 7.1” to 7.5” and I didn’t loose that so I think bill10 is right. After reading these forums for a couple of months before I joined I know that it takes time but after 3+ weeks of 5.25+ MEG I was just a bit shocked to loose all my girth gains in such a short time.

PE may be for life if you want to maintain gains 100% or gain even more.

As a follow up to anybody reading this thread, I am now back up to 5.125 but it has been a slow road. BeardedDragon is right.. 2 steps forward one step back!
