My hands are hurting :S

Hey,

I’ve been surfing on this site for about 1 year now, just looking for the best PE exercises. So far I have been doing jelqing and stretching only (not on a real active basis tho)
First I didn’t had any problems jelqying, but now after a couple of months of ‘inactive jelqing’ I found out that my hands, especially the joints of my hands, hurt after the first 50ish jelqs.
I happen to know that I got really loose joints on some places, therefore I can do a couple of things that normal people wouldn’t be able to do because I got some loose joints.

I also snap my joints sometimes, so that you hear this really loud noise. I’m kinda addicted to it, and some people say it’s bad and some people say it’s no big deal (this go for research done to).

So I was just wondering if somebody gets pain in his hand to from jelqing?
And does anyone know what I can do against it?

I know I should probably stop snapping them joints but it’s so damn addictive.. :(

I too get pain. But that is rather in my muscles as the ok grip is pretty static over a pretty long time. To deal with this, I simply change hand once one get tired.

I’m not trying to promote any products here, but check out the jelq device. It is easy on the hands and your able to apply more pressure on your penis, if needed.

I haven’t heard of ‘the jeql device’, so I looked it up on internet.
But I don’t intend (yet) to buy stuff from the internet.

It is very easy to use too much pressure on your penis using a jelq machine. I don’t think it has a great following here

Pain means something isn’t right and in some way you are damagingyour joints. If it continues for a while then you should ease off or perhaps try using just one had for several strokes then the other.In that way you give yyour hands and wrist a rest.

But still, sometimes this pain or tiredness in my hands is the limiting factor from exercising more. Perhaps one should look up some help devices after all.

You have no muscles in your hands only ligaments, which you should be extremely careful with due to if you rip them then you won’t be doing PE for several months thus loosing your gains. The muscles that are used when griping are in your forearm, which I assume is what you mean?

I’m not a doctor, physical trainer and I don’t have any qualifications saying I know what I’m talking about. This is just knowledge that I have picked up over the time. I have been working out which is a little over 1 year.

Um.There are muscles in your hands. If you don’t have any, I suggest you see a doctor immediately.

Yes there are try squeezing your fingers sideways against each other and look at the top of your palm.

I’m doing 3 strokes each hand now, and it helps. I don’t know how long it’s going to last but it’s working at the moment =)
