My first gains Came after I switched my stretching

I just measured myself this morning and I found myself at 5.25” BPEL instead of the 5.00” BPEL I was at in December. I remember trying to make measurements as recently as mid-January and I think I was still stuck at 5.00”. Although I’m ridiculously excited to see that my penis actually grew, another question has come up now that I think might interest more people than just me.

So in the middle of stretching one day, I was looking in the mirror and got bored and started bloating out my stomach to do my “pregnant look”. The way I do this is to push my stomach out while simultaneously contracting the muscles I could only describe as under the waistline. In any case, when I contracted those muscles while stretching, I felt this immediate tightness/pain (similar to stretching my calves) that would go away if I either stopped stretching or stopped contracting.

It might be just coincidental timing, but I only started noticing measurable gains once I repeated this contract-stretch combo over the next few weeks. The stretch really only works downward and down diagonally for me, although it might be possible for somebody to feel something when going upwards. My question: has anybody else encountered this method of increasing tension? Am I stretching ligaments right now when I do that? It feels totally different than when I just pull downward normally.

Looking forward to seeing if somebody’s found this too. And sorry if this is a repeat, I had no idea how to search for this topic.

Maybe you’re doing a reverse kegel and not realizing it?

I don’t think so. I’ve been doing reverse kegels to try and see if would help with lasting longer. It’s a different muscle that I’m contracting.. I think it might have to do more with stretching ligaments from both sides. I’m pulling down on one end and pulling up on the other. Anybody else have thoughts on this?

Just sounds like to me that your kegeling then stretching so you get the tugback reaction

But it’s being held back because of the stretch and thats what causes the strange sensation of tightness

And pain

man… I swear that isn’t it. I mean… I’ve read up enough to say that I have a basic knowledge on everything newbies should know. No ADS, pumping, or clamping because I am still seeing gains from manual exercises and because I’m only a couple months into doing this. Still, I just tried kegeling and stretching, and I tried reverse kegeling and stretching. The sensation I’m talking about is a totally different one from either. Maybe my ligs are so short that I could actually feel it?

If I could put the contraction in a different way, maybe I could pin it as the same muscle that you would contract to make your balls *ascend*. Am I the only one who feels this?

Jonaquest, I think I experience something similar. While stretching straight down I suck my stomach in quite a bit, which increases the sensation of the ligs stretching. I haven’t been doing it lately, but I definitely noticed more ligament fatigue after my routine. The sensation of the stretch while stomach sucking occurs in roughly the same spot as where it would normally occur when doing a regular stretch, just in case someone thinks I’m stretching something other than the ligs. It’s merely intensified by the stomach contraction.

YES! I was hoping somebody would know exactly what I was talking about. I think that this method of stretching might be able to help people produce further lig gains even if they believe they’ve stopped growing through lig stretches. Any thoughts? Has anybody actually tried this yet aside from me and FoolPotential?

Wait a minute, I’m a bit confused here. Jonaquest, you are pushing your stomach out while stretching, right? Fool Potential does the exact opposite. Yet you say it’s what you’re talking about.

Yeah, I can feel a much greater ligament stretch when sucking my stomach in while doing a BTC/SD stretch, it’s a nice trick.

Well, when I suck in the bottom of my stomach, the top naturally flops out. Of course, I could suck in the entirety of my stomach and achieve the same result, but I’m trying to isolate the area in which this muscle exists.

I understand now. Sorry I misunderstood you, thanks for your answer. It does give a great stretch, I’ll have to use it more often. :)

I pull my abdomen in an it definately increases the tension on the ligs. You get a far better stretch, especially BTC stretches! Give it a go, just don’t rip the thing off.

The one thing I do know is that if the ligament hurts every time, that means you’re damaging it every time, and this is something important enough to take slowly and safely. I think you should take a week off and then go with a method one of these dudes used Category:Picture Proof
