My effects of PE thus far good, bad, and neutral

I’m into my third week of PE. I’m doing the newbie routine more or less. I started out not seeing any swelling after PE except for one time during the first week. I was concerned about my jelqing technique, my lube situation and the fact that I could not stay semi erect for more than 10-15 jelq reps at most.

The Good:

More recently right after PE my flaccid hang has a noticeable amount more of girth (about .15 inches more than my starting EG and about .4 inches more than my starting FG). It stays this way for about 20 minutes or so and then it subsides a bit and I retain some slight swell for the next day or two. I also notice that I tend to have a harder erection right after a PE exercise. I have switched my warmup technique from a hot wash cloth to a rice sock and I’ll never look back. I bought some personal lube KY jelly knockoff and it stays lubed up for much longer. When it does seem to wear out I have a container of warm water at my side to quickly dip my hands to to re-lube since it is water based. I have also gotten much better at keeping my erection up longer and incorporated kegels when I felt like I needed to get some extra blood in there.

The Bad:

I have a spot or two on my shaft from getting too rough one session but its been going away. When I do stretches my glans turns purple, my shaft shrinks and when I get my erection right after to do jelqs, it looks shorter at first. Also when I am jelqing, I really only feel good pressure when I’m about half way up my shaft and I believe explains why after a session I get the “baseball bat” effect where my base looks normal and from midway up is all swelled. After the initial swell it seems to distribute more evenly but I still am pretty sure I am only working out the top half and will only see girth gains on that part. Now yesterday something new happened. I developed that “donut” or “spare tire” right at the top of the shaft below my glans. It lasted as long as the initial swell and went away.

The Neutral:

I had to take a few days off in a row more than once and I noticed that I did not have any permanent gains from what I could tell. I’m guessing it’s still too early to expect that.

My point to all this:

I think I may be on the right path but I need to figure out how to stop the discoloration in my glans and figure out how to better target the base of my shaft. Any suggestions welcome!

A side note: I’m really trying to focus on girth.

As long as the discolouration goes away in the glans it’s not a problem. Do a few firegoat rolls; that should help.

To improve the pressure of jelqs the full length of your shaft, try to keep the erection level around 70%, kegel as you apply the bottom hand, and keeping the hand still, squeeze your shaft until you feel the pressure in front of the hand build a bit before starting the jelq. You may need to fine tune the erection level so that you can feel the pressure build just from slightly increasing your grip force. You will also have to jelq more slowly to avoid excess pressure. Jelqing is an art that takes a bit of learning and a lot of fine-tuning. :)

This technique is a little more advanced, creates quite a bit more pressure, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone with less than a few weeks of jelqing practice.

I’m on my 6th, no, 7th day off. I sort of lost my motivation because my EQ has gone down the drain. It might be psychological as well. But I can’t give up yet I’ve only had two months of PE, I’ll just simplify my routine and stick to the newbie routine.

I also want some girth mainly.

Firegoat, you should do a video of how to do the jelq properly :D

I jelq about the same as firegoat describes. The only difference is, I am at about 50% and dry. For my, it works great and the only time I have got any fluid build up is when I went to long. As far as your red spot, try ramping up you your intensity. Lighter pressure at first and build to your regular. Try the same with stretching, only ramping down intensity at the end.

The discoloration does go away after a day or so but I did just check out your “rolls.” I’ll have to do them next session just for the fun of seeing my head turn back to normal.

I do normally end up at about 70% erection level but I try to start almost completely hard. Although I heard this was dangerous, especially for newbies, I can only stay 90-95% for about 5-7 reps so I don’t think much about it (maybe I should?). I try to keep my erection level high because my research here on TP has pointed out to me that better girth gains come from jelqing at higher erection levels.

I have noticed that doing kegels when you said to help sometimes but a lot of times after a kegel rep I lose my erection a bit and have to “beef it up” again. Like you said though it’s a fine art and I feel I am only getting better with time. I will hopefully be able to fine-tune it for maximum pressure. Thanks firegoat.
