My dick seems to be toughening up

I’ve been PEing off and on for a couple years now and I started doing mem’s routine a few months back. The past couple months I’ve noticed my dick seems to be tougher than before; not as “pliable” as it used to be. Not sure if anyone knows what I mean. I’ve been very slow in building up my time doing the manual exercises. But as I said, it’s tough and not pliable. I used to be able to do low erection jelqing and really stretch it out. It no longer seems to be that way. As well, I seem to be turtling all the time now. Since I’ve done multiple routines over the years (some way more intense), I’m just wondering what’s causing it. I’m using a thick metal bar to wrap my dick around for the stretch like that. Could I be applying too much force? Would that be causing it to toughen up? Also, is this a permanent thing or is there something I can do to go back to the way I used to be before? I lost 1/4” from taking time off last year and I just can’t seem to gain it back after a year of consistent PE.

Have you tried heat before and during your routine?

I think the only danger would be if your felt something under your penis skin like a lump or if you noticed the shape is now different.

Yeah, I use 10 mins heat before and after the session.

I’ve experienced that before. It comes and goes without rhyme or reason. For me it may be a signal of girth gains. And possibly a signal for a good time to take a short decon break.

I massage my penis during my manual stretch sessions and after my session is done. just briefly during and for about 5 minutes after. I’ve been doing it since i started my routine b/c i read on another forum it prevents the toughening your talking about. so far it has prevented it for me. I used to get hard while massaging but don’t anymore…i’ve gained control to prevent that. i also massage a bit whenever i take off my extender.

It’s happened to me. It’s usually referred to as the “hard flaccid”, and it’s a well-known phenomenon on the forum. I was able to beat it by a Decon break of over a year, but that’s not to say that’s how long it takes, just that I happened to stop peing for a year after losing interest. Other things also contribute, such as overtraining, caffiene intake, medications, stress, involuntary kegeling, etc. I believe progressive hanging has contributed to my penis staying in a soft flaccid state more often and lessened turtling frequency. Excessive pumping seems to do the opposite.

All you say about that your jelqimg session in harder to accomplish and that you turtle more is hapenning to me now that I’m stretching one hour a day…. I will take a Decon break if I don’t gain in a few months. Or change method.

So you mean the solution to his problem is hanging?

Everyones body is different. No guarantee that it will fix your issue with hard flaccid, but it seems to help mine a great deal, as I was a constant hard-flaccid sufferer in the past but something about hanging has trained me to keep less tension in my penis/pelvic floor and have a looser,lower-hanging flaccid. Because this is the basics forum, I wouldn’t advise that outright unless you/he researched it considerably first, although he does say he has several years of experience with PE. If you go that route it’s better to start with very low weights for an extended period of time, because conditioning and learning to wrap consistently and correctly takes time. But make sure your penis is conditioned with at least several months of PE experience (6+ months minimum, I would say), and keep in mind that you only get one, so use care. In my opinion slowly-increasing hanging is one of the safer forms of PE, but it’s not an exercise for beginners by any means.

I’ve been Peing off and on for a few years. I gained around .50 inches or so. My ideal goal is another half inch. I would be very happy at that point but I’m upset that I can’t seem to get there. My routines consisted of just manual exercises. I usually start at 5 mins jelq and 5 mins stretching and build my way up slowly over the span of a few months to get to 15 - 20 mins jelq and 15 - 20 mins stretching. I tried mixing up stretches though (all directions, v-stretches etc). I’m uncut and have never tried hangers or extenders.

Is it a hard flaccid for sure? I read a little on it. I never seemed to injure it and there was never a moment where it got extremely hard and cold. Even now I can get a full flaccid from time to time, mostly when I drink alcohol though, which seems odd to me.

I also get that it needs to be related to relaxation. When I smoked crack i would turtle like hell, it was the anxiety.

Do you feel anything weird other than tougher?

Mine does get a little bit grainy at the tip sometimes its weird. Most times its like jelly.

No, just feels like it tougher . Not as squishy or stretchy, if that makes sense. I don’t have any other issues. I still get good erections. And although it’s turtling more than normal I do get a good flaccid from time to time. My gf is working away until April and I was hoping to gain close to .5” in this time. Do I need to take time off? Are there any signs I should look for if I continue? I’d hate to have to give up.
