This doesn’t sound like good effective PE, quite the opposite.

I can only advise to rest until things are back to normal and start again avoiding what caused this.

Did you take enough rest days, what were your PIs during those months?

I started to do mem’s routine and after about 6 months of conditioning thought I could do 5 days on, 2 off. Could that be the issue? Can applying too much pressure doing V-stretches cause problems? How much pressure should I apply after wrapping it around the the apparatus?

It’s possible you’re jelqing too hard or too long. Jelqing is a delicate thing. I can’t recall who initially used this analogy otherwise I would give them credit, but I once read someone on this forum advising jelqers to imagine their penis as a very rough stick (as though it was covered in sand paper) covered in honey. You want to move the honey down the stick, but you don’t want to squeeze enough to scrape up your hands on the sandpaper pole. Try to picture that when you jelq, it’s helped me a lot. You may also be pulling too hard while stretching, or applying too much pressure with your grip while stretching. I think too much force while stretching or exercising too much or too often is the likely cause. Manual stretching is tough because it’s tough to know how much pressure you’re really applying, and you don’t want your penis to sustain excessive trauma which will just make it “tougher” as you say, in order to prevent injury. That’s why I prefer hanging (specifically, hanging with very low weights and moving up the weight VERY slowly), because it’s easier to figure out what’s getting you into the sweet spot for tissue deformation without going overboard to the point where your penis goes into “defense mode” so to speak. But again, extreme care should be taken. As a disclaimer, this is all based on my personal experience, not necessarily dogmatic principles that work for all PEers. I’ve been thinking about hanging but I’m worried about discoloration. Do you get discoloration or did you find ways to avoid it?

I never got discoloration, but I only hang one twenty minute set per day, which goes against what most hangers advocate. I do believe hanging multiple sets per day or wrapping improperly could give discoloration as an unintended side effect. I had no problem with gains taking several years though. Some guys just want to PE HARD for a few months, get their goals and be done with it, but I don’t think it’s very realistic. Like most things in life, there are no shortcuts in PE. It’s more of a lifestyle change than a quick fix in my opinion. Don’t bother looking for big gains fast, especially after newbie gains. Instead look for a series of small incremental gains that compound into one big gain. Then one day you’ll wake up, look between your legs and realize you have a massive cock no matter how you look at it, even if the increments were small. That’s how it happened for me.

Well, here is an excerpt from a PM exchange I had in the past where someone asked something similar to me:

Disclaimer. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ROUTINE FOR ANYONE WITH LESS THAN A YEAR EXPERIENCE WITH MANUAL PENIS ENLARGEMENT TECHNIQUES.

“I wouldn’t rush into any of this stuff. But as you get conditioned you can handle a lot more. I was blessed with an above average penis. I first jelqed around 15 I believe but not consistently. I started getting serious at age 19 when I got my first size comments from a woman and realized they liked them big (to an extent). I am now 26, and I went from about 6.5 inches BPEL to about 8-8.25 today. And for girth I went from about 5.25MEG, 5.5BEG to about 5.75MEG, 6BEG today.

My routine is 20 minutes hanging every day, straight up (I lay down on my bed normally and attach the hanger, then place the weights over my headboard (I think it’s called that) on my bed. And every three days or so (one day on two days off) I wet jelq 100 times slowly and deliberately, use a fleshlight STU to get myself to 100% erection, and then I do 100 erect reverse Kegels, but only because I have had premature ejaculation issues in the past. Then I return my penis to 100% erection with the fleshlight, clamp with a cable clamp (using a cut sock fabric ring as padding) as tight as possible and as close to the base as possible, then use the fleshlight sparingly but constantly to arouse myself throughout my clamping (usually one set of 8 to 10 minutes, never more than 10). This simulates what I believe is popularly called a horse440 squeeze on the forum, but I’m not positive. After I pop off the clamp, I do about 25 jelqs, then again I use the fleshlight to attain a 100% erection (I have to allow the clamped blood to be completely replaced by new oxygen-rich blood). Then I put my 100% erect penis in a pump tube that allows a ton of expansion but a tighter squeeze around the base to prevent my testicle blood vessels from being sucked into the tube prior to the seal which is created at the base with the first few pumps. I pump very conservatively by feel, but I don’t advise a beginner to go by feel. Never above 5 inches Hg. I then pump for about 5-8 minutes (never more than 8). Then I release the pressure, jelq about 25 more times, and use the fleshlight to work myself to a 100% erection (takes a bit longer because of the pump’s temporary interference with normal blood engorgement). Then when I am as erect and big as I’ve ever been (this is important, in my opinion, for progress, though opinions vary) I use the fleshlight to stimulate myself to orgasm/ejaculate. Then I take a warm shower but I don’t fuss with my penis during, just wash off the lube and let it stay fully engorged (though soft, it stays very large for a “flaccid” penis).

That’s my routine bro. It fits my needs and time constraints and that’s good enough for me. As for hanging weight, I started hanging with only 2.5 lbs and I did 120 twenty minute sets (that’s 120 days), then at the end of every 120 sets I add 2.5 more. I’m now up to 17.5 lbs after about two years of hanging. I hang every day, and on days I’m going to do the full routine I always hang before the jelqing/pumping/clamping. So yeah, that’s my routine.

By the way, this routine takes a lot out of my penis. The day after my EQ is somewhat diminished, two days after my skin is still irritated from the expansion, but on the third day following, my penis is stronger and healthier than it’s ever been.

what do you use for hanging? are you cut? I also think length work can be performed everyday while jelqing and so require less days for better performance. I will try to jelq less often
