My burning questions

Finally! I´ve got an account I can post from.

Some background:

I´m 18 and have read enthusiastically about PE for over a year now. I have never stuck to a routine let alone had one, but I have done some quite powerful jelqing and squeezes in the past. But even through my lengthy spell of reading I´ve not found certain issues discussed. Perhaps this is because not a lot is known about some of them. Anyway, my burning questions are: (If you could quote the number when answering that would be most helpful).

1) I´m 18 now, but I feel about 17 really in terms of maturity. Examples of this would be that although some areas of my body have ´proper´coverage of hair, some are still growing. I also think I´m still growing height-wise, and finally, I rarely need to shave, as facial hair is only around the mouth currently. That may seem like random rubbish, but my question is, based on the fact that I still seem to be in quite an early stage of maturity, and I´m wondering whether I will be seeing any more growth penis-wise. I would imagine in most 18 year olds it would have stopped already, but I´m desperately hoping that I still have some more growing to do. My current stats are 6.5” nbpel and 4.5 eg. Btw, I think my dimensions are exactly the same as 6 months ago. Previously it has seemed like I´ve grown an inch in length a year.

2) Will Jelqing, uli´s and light stretching affect my growth (if I´m still growing). I´ve never seen a straight answer on this one. I would have thought it would be beneficial to give a helping hand, as hormones would still be about which would hopefully help.

3) In jelqing, the blood flows to the end, but the base is left out, is there any way to make sure the “baseball” effect doesn´t creep up on me? I.e. keep the base girth up too. I´ve noticed that the end is slightly thicker than the base, which is undesirable.

4) And finally, more of a wonder and rant this, but if I feel back where the penis enters the body, there is clearly a lot more of it, and it feels quite thick, going into the body, quite far. Is there no way of getting at all that? There must be 3” or more in there! And if it´s quite thick back there, do you think I´m just waiting for a growth spurt so that it evens up what´s inside and out? If you check, is what´s inside thicker and harder than what´s out? It´ll be really useful hearing that, because you´re probably all a bit older than me.

Don´t feel like you have to try and answer them all (or any!). Even one answer would be helpful. I´ve not got anyone here I can talk to about this kind of stuff, hence the long post. I plan to be around for a long time, as I´ve just started a proper routine, which I will stick to solidly for three weeks, and if I see the slightest (0.1” for example), especially in girth, I´ll be a life long member. I am aware that changes can take a lot longer, but I think 0.1” is not a very large goal for three weeks. If I do not achieve that, then I´ll carry on anyway, but not too long, in case I´m just doing damage.

Actually, remembered one last question:

5) People say it´s possible to jelq against the curve and fix a curve in the penis. I have a slight one to the left. Has anyone on the board successfully corrected or fixed slightly a bend in their penis through jelqing? If so do you have any tips, and any other excercise that could be of use?

According to known medical facts…the body stops growing (generally speaking) at age 25,from there on out …its all downhill so don’t worry you still have a ways to go besides some people age very slowly like me…

I’m 38 but you’d swear I was no more than 25 in person. In fact, I didn’t even grow facial hair until I was 21…pubic and armpit hair set in about 17…I was a late boomer but today there is not a trace of a line or wrinkle on my face…so consider the situation that you are in to be a good thing for your future….don’t be in hurry to grow old. :chuckle:

The nice thing about doing PE at your age is that you can have a jump start on your workouts since testosterone levels are very high and aid in the building process.

My answers:

1) I would not count on any more penis growth if I were you. It’s always possible, but I think at your age it is unlikely. I’ve heard that the growth in your reproductive system takes place during puberty as a result of the great amount of hormones in your system.

2) If anything, I would your tendancy to grow would help PE. Though I don’t know to what extent. I think the main advantage of starting at 18 is that you can get what you want earlier in life.

3) You should do a search on bends and bruisers, bruisers especially for base girth. Well, maybe you should hold off on those particular exercies until you are a little more experienced.

4) I’ve heard that the majority of your penis lies inside your body, that’s not to say that PE is pulling it out. I mean, think about it, if your pulled all this dick out, there would be a huge hole behind it.

I’ll try question Number 1:

I wish I had started PE at 18. Or 30. Or 42. You will have many more fun years ahead of you (when you get your results), than starting older. However, there is some evidence in the archives here that older guys may get faster gains than younger ones. Whatever, go for it.

My body at 18 was not the same as at 22-24. I know my dick grew some in girth during that time. My chest (pecs) got larger; my shoulders broader. (No scheduled workouts except a lot of play stuff - tennis, swimming, volley ball). My body hair patterns also changed. More chest and facial hair. So at least we can probably say that in four years you won’t (maybe) have the same configurations you have today. If you stick to a good PE program, odds are your dick will be bigger.

I wonder, Insane_Man, if some of that internal dick isn’t in fact pulled out. During PE, in the long term, we do build new tissue cells, skin, “smooth muscle,” and expand the blood capacity of our cavernosa chambers, all this to the external penis. But how do we account for that often-early increase guys get in length? Lig stretching, sure. As a pumper I have to think that pumping pulled something out in addition to the cellular growth that was happening in the outside shaft while I did that.

No. There would be no hole behind what you pulled, if it were pulled. The connective tissue and muscle and pubic cartelage and so on would fill in the space. There are very few hollow spaces in a body and when there are, they are quite small.

Penis length

I have read that there is actually from 10 to 14 inches of penis inside the body. The million dollar question is ‘How do you get it out?’

My opinions.

1. To expand a bit on Avocet8’s reply: I think the theory that younger guys may not gain as quickly as us older fellows is because your tissues are still very elastic. They can recover from a stretch without damage and damage, in small amounts, is what it takes to cause penile growth. However, someone who is still growing may be able to over come this because of some amount of growth hormones still available. So someone who has stopped growing, but is still young (i.e. around 25) might have problems with gains that an older guy wouldn’t have. Yet someone younger and still growing might be able to increase his natural growth (whatever is left of it) by PE methods.

2. I guess I sort of addressed your number two question with my answer above. I agree with you that you may be able to help your natural growth. I do not do bends, squeezes, Uli’s, etc. I have enough girth and those are mainly girth building exercises. So, that being the case, I cannot advise you on which ones, if any, would help. I would advise you to start easy and go slowly. Bend exercises are really not for beginners.

3. Again, I’m not that knowledgeable on girth exercises, so someone else will have to help you with base girth exercises. I understand gains at the base usually occur with hanging exercises rather than jelqing. This may be due to stretching of the crura and a slight pulling of them outward (see next answer).

4. Your “inner penis” feels thicker because the corpora cavernosa angle away from the center and are attached to your pelvis. Here is a drawing of the penis which shows the crura or “legs” of the penis (crura is the plural, crus is singular). If you are feeling your penis from the sides under your pubic bone and it seems wider, it’s because of the diverging crura. The penis has to stay attached to the pelvic bones in order for you to use it for intercourse. The attachment forms the base that allows thrusting.

With PE exercises microscopic tears or damage are created in the penile tissues and, as they are repaired, additional tissue is grown. You don’t pull out what’s inside (not much of it anyway), but all along the length (more outside than in) new tissue is added. That’s how gains are made. The amount of inner penis is different for each man, but seems to be about two-thirds of what’s outside. So someone with six inches past the pubic bone might have four or so inches inside. That’s measuring to the end of the crura and not all of it is available to be “pulled out” although some probably is with hanging or pumping type PE exercises.

5. Sideways curves are usually due to one corpus cavernosa being a bit longer than the other. They may also be due to a slight disparity in fundiform ligament length (this gives me an opportunity to show off these great lig drawings I recently found). Unless it’s really extreme and causes problems with penetration, I wouldn’t worry about it. Many men have a slight curve.

What a fantastic set of replies. That was pretty much the entire set of questions I´ve had for a long time, and you´ve all gone a good long way to answer them. Thanks!

I´ve come to the conclusion that although I don´t thin´k I´ve seen any growth over the last six months, the fact that I must have raised testosterone levels to mature (still got a fair bit to do) might mean that there is enough extra testosterone to give slight, perhaps slow growth.

Either way I have a beginner´s routine worked out, and will be measuring next week. I´ll also be avoiding anything like bends and will only be doing light uli excercises.

I doubt I´ll be posting for a few weeks, but I´ll be here reading all the other posts, and will report my findings once I´ve had time to give this a proper go.

Westla,that is a nice post with good diagrams.

What is essentially done during surgery for PE is they cut and release some of these ligs that suspend the penis… however post surgery patients soon discover that even though they gained an inch or so …they now have problems during intercourse (thrusting)…that is a hell of a sacrifice for gaining an inch!!!

The point being… don’t mess with mother nature by radically altering her design with surgery.What I don’t understand is that people that would have such a surgery must have had the reasonable diligence to do the research and know about these outcomes …so why do they go and do it anyway???…

My guess is they didn’t do the research and had total faith in the surgeon who was eager to use his scalpel on you (big mistake)…better to stick to the manual techniques that enhance what mother nature already gave you through cell division.
