My Brain screws me up

Everytime I start a PE routine my brain starts going whacky on me. I start over-analyzing everything, I get fed up, and I stop. I really want to succeed in PE. I’m happy with what I have don’t get me wrong, but It’s an endeavor I want to fullfill in my life. I’m ratting myself out. I need to hear myself say this outloud and come up with a solution. My solution is to breathe, take my time, start slow and try new things.

Anybody else suffer from over-analytical-itis and how do you deal with it?

Yeah, I suffer from it, all my life. So what? Who’s the master of you? You!

So yeah, you have different parts of your brain, and they sometime work against each other… But wouldn’t it be much more beneficial if they worked together?

I mean, being over-analytical is great for PE, as long as your attitude is positive. If you’re PEing, one of most important things is to be very analytical and have some common sense, that way you can not only protect your penis from over-training and injuries, but also find your way and the kind of routine that is best for you.

So, instead of being depressed over it, use your over-analytical brain to always be conscious of what you are doing and keep yourself in the right path.

And your solution sounds fine. It’s really simple, just keep at it and come here when you need encouragement :-) .

Thank you guys. I’ve been reading some threads ( Modesto’s thread imparticular with remek about lot theory ) rereading BiB’s lot theory and trying to make my own conclusions as to the most efficient path for me to take. I tried hanging but my enormous fat pad ( 3 inches ) and the fact that I can’t stay completely flaccid make wrapping and hanging all but impossible. I’ve tried manual stretching and jelquing before and I get nowhere. Well, I will just breath and try something new I guess.

Yep.

The secret for me was to master being mellow and frosty, (hyper-alert) at the same time. If I just go with the flow and self monitor things mostly work out for me.

At this point I need to pick a routine and stay the course. Sometimes to much info and too many options causes me mental overload. Do I trust the lot theory or not? Stretch less or more to jelq or not to jelq?

Did I measure right? I don’t trust the Lot theory at this point. I’m going to manually stretch btc and jelq. I will do just this for one month. 5 on weekends off.

You are overthinking things.

Echoing others, take up the newbie routine, do it for a month, and stop thinking about "LOT" theory or any other theory.

Ah Mr. Twat ! I remember him from when I first joined. ( My original screen name was inch x inch ) Very interesting fellow. I’m ok. After thinking things over I decided I know nothing about this, I’m not educated in anatomy, and to think I can figure how PE works through my imagination and other people’s theory’s just doesn’t seem proper. I will just have to invest my time, try things out and see what happens. I get caught up quickly. I vented, I feel much betterer thank you.

Sounds like a plan.

Rather than making it more and more complicated go the other direction if you need to. It is possible to make your wee-wee bigger through arcane processes which you may well never fully understand. However you do not need to understand them. Simply pick one of the very few approaches that deliver results to guys starting out and employ it as ritual.
