Just had a question to see if anyone knew of some kind of indicators to tell if your a more is more or a less is more kind of person.

Great question, I wish I had a great answer because I am not sure if there are any indicators that would suggest which way to go.

Logically (to me anyway), it is better to start less and build up more until you start to see results.

You will eventually build up to any point you would have guessed at starting at with the “more” approach, only you will do it safer, and you may find results at a lower intensity than you might have thought.

The only reason I see for starting with “more” is impatience, which does not usually go well with PE.

Sometimes, even with the same person less is more and other times more is more.

I think good PIs / good EQ is the indicator for how much PE you should do. Try to maintain moderate to excellent EQ. If you’re EQ is bad, you’re doing too much and need go for a lighter routine, or get some rest and start when you’re EQ is good again.

More is more if you notice that less is not enough.
