So after doing the newbie routine I have a very slight tingling/numbness toward the head. It’s strange, I can’t really touch anywhere on my penis and say that it feels numb, but it’s just a mild sensation that’s coming and going. The next day, the sensation was gone. I had decided to take the day off from PE, but since it was gone I thought I would do some kegels. Immediately afterward I noticed it again. Then again today, it was gone until I masturbated (no pe) and now it is back again just slightly. Has anyone experienced something like this? Sorry I can’t be more specific describing it. I’m thinking maybe I overdid it when I was jelqing the last time I did PE, but I’m also surprised that it came back only from doing kegels.

Yes, everything was totally normal but afterward I had some of the “numbness/tingling.”

Yes, take time off. Any altered sensation, such as numbness, is a symptom of some nerve damage. It is probably very minor, but nerves heal slowly and must be allowed to heal.

It always seems strange to me that people will take time off with bad red-spots etc., which cause no pain, but are visible, but with nerves or something they can’t see, they think because it’s not visible, it’s not important. It is, and needs to heal.

Thanks for the advice, Firegoat. After starting the thread, I took two days off from PE and masturbation, which seemed to help a lot. Now for 2 days I’ve just masturbated once in the morning and not done any PE, and the issue seems to have abated almost entirely. I still plan on taking at least a few more days off from PE, but I was wondering if anyone thinks there should be some standard amount of time taken off for an injury like this or is it the kind of thing where you just slowly try to start back? I think when I do start again I am going to try the linear routine and do less jelqs than I had been doing. I’m still unsure what caused the issue though. It seems like it could have been the manual stretches or jelqing, possibly overdoing one or both of them. It’s tough, though, because I haven’t seen many people on the forum with this kind of issue.

My advice would be to give it a few days after all symptoms have gone, just to be sure, then build up slowly just as you have said in your post.
