Measuring

I know there are a million threads about this, but I was hoping to get some new input from some of the more active members now.

Do you measure?

Sitting down/standing up?

Exactly on top of the penis or on the left/right side?

I find that measuring on the left or right side but still on the bone gives me a larger measurement?

I do sitting down + exactly on top. A sitting measurement will be slightly bigger than a standing, just like a side measurement should be bigger than on top. Really, it doesn’t matter as long as you measure the same way each time to track your gains.

Yea, I’ve noticed that sitting is bigger and side is always bigger. So why is that, and so which one is the accurate one ?

It’s subjective. You should be able to find a few threads that talk about it in better detail.

I know its subjective, and I’ve read some threads, but I don’t get why measuring on the side produces different results? Does the bone groove down?

It’s much harder to get the ruler in exactly the same place measuring from the side. The most repeatable measurement is standing, along the top, bone pressed, with the ruler turned on its edge, penis parallel to the floor.

Remember, the aim of measuring is only to track growth, so the numbers don’t matter; accurate repeatability does. :)
