Measuring correctly

I have found this to be somewhat troublesome up until now.

Alot of fluctuations in my measurements were due to the following reasons:

1. Erection quality - My erection goes down after 1 to 5 seconds of no stimulation. (Is this normal btw?)
2. Angle - If I push my penis forward (or ‘down’) I get a higher measurement than when I pull it towards my belly.
3. Amount of pressure - Pushing in the ruler too much or too little for (Applies for both BPEL and NBPEL measurements)
4. Sitting/standing - Somewhat the same as angle.
5. Curve - When I do make measurements I make sure my penis is straight out, this might fluctuate as I may use more/less curve at different times.
6. Ruler position

I also notice the pubic bone goes down towards my penis thus when I place the ruler closer to the shaft I get a higher measurement bone pressed.

I think it’s very important to measure CORRECTLY the same time over and over again if you are serious about tracking gains. Because I can easily gain or lose 1/4” to 1/2” due to measuring wrong.

I thought I was gaining :) And I probably did, but I will discard these gains for now since I developed a measuring method for myself which makes it more consistent and fair. So find out what works for you and once you have, don’t measure too often!

I have similar issues with my measurements.

I try not to measure so much anymore since we can only get bigger, and not smaller.

But, when I do whip out the ruler, I can swear that I see myself as 6” NBPL while sitting down, then I stand up and I’m 6.5” NBPL. If I slouch I get some pluses, if I stand at attention I get some minuses.argh.

I then sit back down and do a BPEL and get 7” but then I stand back up and do a EL measure and get a liiiiiiiiiiiiiitle under 7”.. WTF?!

My meat fluctuates so much that I don’t even bother with measurements anymore, or at least not for now. If it is very important to you, I can recommend a cloth measuring tape (as these can measure every curve of your dick, more so than a ruler) and that you measure your penis at a consistent time of day. I personally beat off/measure at 7 am when I’m in the mood.

But, I would say to just go in on your workouts and keep a good attitude! PE can only help you, so anything done in good faith will result in good gains.


Yesterday: 6.2 NBP

Today: 6.5 NBP (varies...)

Tomorrow: 8 NBP

Agreed although I find being able to keep good track of my size important not because of my ego but because I need the data to see if what I’m doing WORKS. Measuring 1 or twice a month is enough imo if you KNOW how to measure correctly.

Yup, definitely don’t measure more than once a month or you’ll probably go crazy.

I find it better to measure alot when you’re just starting out, so you know how and in what ways it can fluctuate. So that the next time you measure you’ll be sure it’s not a measurement error :) After that once a month is fine yea.

This thought has been on my mind a lot lately. IMO the woman’s vagina is more like measuring tape(pliable) and not like a hard plastic ruler thus conforming to the curve of the penis. It would make sense to me that the curve measurement is the actual size but opinions and debate are needed.

Yes i agree on this. I have been searching and not really finding much on it, so I hope we get some more input lol.

I have the same problem.

I measure my penis while I´m sitting. I always do that and I never, ever, push the 0 mark “inside” my belly. I try to align that mark from the very start of the “seen” penis, avoiding the fat pad. I do not push hard against me. If I press to hard I can easily have 7”!!!

I always use the ruler by the side (touching) of my unit.

----- Current/Restart: - BPEL: ~ 7"; NBPEL: ~ 6.4"; EG: 4.85";

Final Goal - NBPEL: ≥ 7.5"; EG: ≥ 5.5";

Measure it now and accept your size, be happy with it. Do the exercises with dedication. After 3 years measure it again and see the results.

Measuring is used to track the progress, so you know what is going on. It’s really doesn’t matter if you can add a few millimeters by measuring in different way. eventually, you’ll still have the same size, regardless of the measuring technique.

And there is nothing called “correct measurements”; just use the same technique every time you measure.
