Measuring Consistency

To all that are starting and are reluctant to use the BPEL method of measuring, I highly recommend that you do. When I first started out, I didn’t want to use the BPEL method because no one cares about how much you have behind your layer of fat. What’s shown on the outside is what counts. But, when I started getting serious about this process, I realized how important doing the BPEL method is. It’s because I could not be sure that I was consistently measuring the same way each time doing the NBPEL method, press just slightly into your abdomen, and you’ll gain a 1/16” to 1/8” of an inch. By pushing through that layer of fat, I’m getting as consistent a measurement as I can.

However, I did notice something in the last two weeks or so. There’s a difference in measuring between measuring from the top versus the side. After a while, I realized that when I pushed the ruler back into my abdomen from the top, I made me want to ejaculate. Not sure why. So, I started measuring from the side. It doesn’t seem to want to ejaculate if I measure from the side. Weird, I know. But by measuring from the side, I gained almost another 1/4” and I know that’s impossible in a short 2-week period.

So, I guess whatever method you decide to use, be consistent. Just be aware that your measurements will differ depending on which technique you use.

That being said.. I still made gains of about 1/2” in 6-weeks.

Insightful and ,in my opinion, very accurate. There are so many variables involved in measuring NBPEL, that it’s practically worthless for precisely tracking gains.

When you use the BPEL method of measuring, I’m not sure if you’re supposed to put the ruler on top of the penis or on the side. I guess, because of the way the pelvis is shaped, I add a 1/4” by placing the ruler to the side. But to keep things conservative and consistent, I put it on the top.

Also, measure either standing up or laying down, and do it the same way every time.

I’ve always measured from the side. When I measure from the top I get the same measurement. It doesn’t really matter where you measure from as long as you ALWAYS measure from exactly the same place then you can get a consistent accurate measurement, IMO. Also I think if you measure from the top and push your dick down flat as opposed to pointing it up towards your chest, you get a slightly longer measurement, which I seem to notice quite a few guys doing in their pictures, whereas if I measure from the side I get consistently the same measurement whichever angle my dick is at.


Current: 7 1/4" BPEL, 5 1/2" EG

Goal: 7 1/2" BPEL, 6" EG, 7 inches NBPEL, the magic number!

I get more when measuring from the side. I think that is true for most of men. Also, measuring from the side you are not leaving out the fat, which adds discrepancy.

I understand what you’re saying. The only thing I have to do, is control my erections. When I push down my penis, and press the ruler against it from the top, I always feel like cuming. Weird.. I know.

I never thought about it.. But do you think there is less fat from the bottom than the top? Hmm.. I thought it was the way the pubic bone was shaped. You made a good point.

Well, I guess I’m going to have measure from the side. When I measure from the top, it makes me too excited for some reason and I want to cum.
