I noticed that if you measure standing straight up vs. leaning over to check the ruler while standing, the leaning over can give you a little extra length. Even measuring while sitting can deceive you.

Yeah very true, also position of your feet can have a huge impact on your length for me anyway I try to make sure I have my feet placed the same way every time.

Well if you learn a position to be in to make your penis stick out farther, then that could be a gain lol. I practice with a ruler so I know how I need to be so I can get the deepest penetration possible.

Have several methods of measuring. I measure sitting, standing, bone pressed, non bone pressed, the ruler flat against my dick and then also the ruler parallel with my dick. If you gain you’ll know you gained if you take enough measurements.

The best way to measure is to simply just stand up in your normal comfortable stance and measure. Sitting down and leaning forward can give you some extra length which is not accurate. My nbpel is 9 inches but if I sit down and lean forward with my pelvis protuded out I can measure 9.2 inches which is a false sense of length. When you just stand up and not lean forward or spread your legs to a rediculous distance apart then you cannot cheat. You will notice that in most of Mandingo or Lexington steele movies they lean and crouch there upper bodies forward and stick there pelvis out at the sametime while getting blowjobs to visually make there penis’s look that much longer.

Maybe it is useful to measure your cock for a few days a couple of times a day. In this way you can get a range between the changes, but don’t forget the measurements. :)

If I may let me give some other perspectives here.
When you measure with a ruler there are ways to cheat and not realize it. I did this or a while until I came to the conclusion that I needed something more accurate.

What can happen is the point at which you put the ruler is the important point. If you take a measurement with an outstretched flaccid or even an erection, if the base point of the ruler moves up on the pelvis, you’ll get a longer measurement.

In order to correct this I adapted the technique of putting my index finger on top of the suspensory ligament and next to the pelvis, then I put the ruler base on top of my finger anchored into the pelvis. This way you get the exact same starting point each time. This becomes your reference measurement.

I gave up on trying to measure erect because there are just to many variables. hard, rock hard, semi hard, deflating, etc, etc.

I’m a hanger that likes to use a straight out hanging angle. What I’ll do for reference measuring is to use the above method while hanging straight out. This way I know that I’m measuring the length of my ligs.

Now this has nothing to do with erect measurements and frankly I don’t care. The important thing here is to get a measurement that is accurate every time. If my stretched measurement gets longer I can rest assured that my erect length is longer also.

I used to put the ruler right over the top, horizontal to the penis. Later I learned it was pushing back on the suspensory lig, and pushing the penis back into my body by .1”-.2”. I measure now, just to the right of the suspensory lig. So the ruler will still be horizontal to the penis, shifted so that its edge is just to the right of the suspensory lig.

I believe its a good way to measure. Also those of you on sites where women are looking for lengths, the most common way in the world to measure it is to the side of the penis. Most people have an extra .50” measured this way.

Also on the seated vs. standing measurements. Most of you can get the same measurement seated as standing, by humping your hips forward a little bit. Imagine tucking them under and forward. I believe this is fair, as it does indicate a max penis length and you will achieve it during sex. If you kick your hips back, you can lose from .50” to almost a full 1” if you exaggerate it…

I do my measurements seated, but I do not lean over, I lean forward slightly so that I can get a perfectly perpendicular measurement on the ruler.

And Yes, Mandigo does have his body and hips positioned, so that his unit is at max length at all times. He is hardly at a position where his penis length is not optimized. Its not a bad show for those of you that can do something similar.

I personally think all ‘newbie gains’ within the frame of a month are just improved erection gains, which are sweet nonetheless. But I personally do not think they should be counted along with real gains. But they are just as, if not as, significant as real gains.
