I’ve been hanging, jelquing, and using VigRX for some time.measured in years. I’ve gone from 6.5 to 8.25 but can’t gain any more. From the collective wisdom of you all.am I maxed out?

Well, I’m no vet, but I have read a lot on this board. I think most people would recommend that you go on a de-conditioning break over a period of say 1-3 months wherein you do absolutely no PE. After that, you get back to PE and with reasonable intensity. The idea being to “shock” your penis into more growth and gains. Maybe you’ve already tried that, but if you haven’t I think it’s worth a shot.

I’d be quite happy at 8.25” and go onto a maintenance routine. Anything more would cause my good lady a problem and defeat the object of the exercise. How’s the girth?

You’ve been a member for two years and you’re not considered a vet?

I wouldn’t think you are maxed out robin, but it’s going to take a lot to gain a little now. A deconditioning break may be good for you.

Heh, well I did join a long time back but after seeing no gains at the end of 3 months I gave up back then. I have only recently begun another attempt at PE since March and am seeing some amazing results :) . It really does help to read every bit of information available here!

Robinme you have already had very good gains 1.75 inches is still very nice growth, as the others have said go on a break and see what happens.

Well the first time around, I was doing a 2 minute warmup followed by around 5 minutes of stretching. However the technique was completely wrong and I stretched skin more than anything else. Also the intensity of my stretches were pretty low. At that time I hadn’t yet gone through everything at Thunder’s, and wasn’t aware of how important stretching is for gaining length. I used to Jelq at around 50-70% erection levels upwards, i.e., towards my stomach. Although I did them fairly intensely for around 20 minutes at the end of 3 months I was disheartened to see no gains.

My 2nd time around, which was about 3 months back, I actually got started with only O-Bends after reading about them at Thunder’s. I really loved the excercise and they seemed very intense. I could immediately see some increase in girth and this greatly increased my enthusiasm for PE. Since then I backed off the O-bends so as to focus on length for now. I have been doing 10-15 min sessions of stretching, thrice a day with a couple of rest days thrown in here and there. For me i think more frequent but shorter stretching sessions is the key to seeing gains. I strongly believe that 3-10 min sessions spread out through the day is better than one 30 minute stretching session. Also a week back I started with an improvised dry jelq technique to help stretch my ligs. I have written about it here:

Excellent feedback Orion, thanks. In your 3 daily stretch sessions, do you use heat as a warm-up every time, or skip it? Also, what kind of stretches are you doing in those short sets, anything special or just basic stuff?

Thanks Orion. I’ve also suspected that stretching for short periods several times per day may be more effective than one solid block of time. But I haven’t put it to the test personally, yet.

Actually I don’t warm up. I would like to, infact I wanted to try stretching while using an IR lamp as it seems like a promising idea, but I can’t due to privacy issues. Ofcourse it’s summer and where I stay its like 42-45 degrees Centigrade outside….So I guess maybe I don’t need much of a warmup :D

As for types of stretches, they have been your regular stretches after gripping with an over hand OK grip near the base of the head. Initially I used normal stretching sets where I held one stretch for around 30 seconds. However soon I switched to JAI stretches. They seemed more effective to me and I used to feel more sore after a nice intense 10-15min session of JAI stretches. I also threw in a couple of other stretches like the V-stretch and the one where you stretch your penis around your arm. However I was very sporadic with them and don’t really attribute my gains to them. Oh! almost forgot, another stretch which I feel is really good and effective. Thats the rotator or helicopter stretch…or whatever you want to call it :D . Basically you grip below the head, stretch out hard below and then rotate the penis slowly in a wide circle making sure to maintain the pressure and the stretch. Do atleast 20 clockwise and another 20 anti-clockwise. I really like this excercise and I do think it is quite effective.
