I’ve only been doing PE for a week with the newbie routine and trying to plan out my future routine and the idea of hanging or using some sort of contraption on my @&$# is very unappealing to me. Just wondering if it is possible to gain substantially in both length and girth using an entirely manual routine? If so what routines or techniques should I incorporate? If anyone has done an entirely manual routine and had good gains please share your story and any tips! Thanks!

Personally, I’ve gained best with devices.

I got an inch in length with a mechanical stretcher I used in a hot bath, and now I’m hanging.

I think its possible to gain manually, but the consistant load over time is best achieved with machinery, in my opinion.


Began December 2009 at 5 7/8" length and 5" girth.

As of December 5th 2012 7 3/8" BPEL and 6 1/8" base girth.

Going for the magic 8"x6"

I have only been doing PE for about 3months manually, have gained about half an inch and I am happy with my natural gain. Would like it to be more but I am not using any medical stuff, just doing manual stretches as often as I can.

IMHO, manual works just fine especially as as newbie. I’ve gained just about 3/4” in length and girth in one year. IMHO, devices can help with workout discipline (monitoring minutes/reps) and targeting but your only focus should be on conditioning and monitoring your penis response for now. That said, if I had all the time and privacy I needed, I would definitely consider adding hanging, pumping, etc. going into my second year.

Yes. Newbie routine as long as it delivers. Tweak it until it works again and stick with that as long as it delivers.

*I’m not considering Yguy because he started very young so part of his gains could be due the late spurt of natural growth.

Just made my jelq device and going to see witch feels better. I’m also making my wrench as well going to use a wrist strap and mod it a bit. It ok to try different methods or switch thing up.

Yes you can with just manual exercises. For the most part all I do is manual exercises. The only device I use is clamps. I would buy or order pumps, extenders, and hangers but I can’t ship it to my house without the chance of someone else getting it and opening it.

What is this mechanical stretcher that you use? I read that you built it yourself from materials from HD, but could you elaborate on this?


Ultimate Goal is 8" NBPEL x 6" EG

Spring 2009 measurement is 7.25" BPEL x 5.85" EG
