I used a hanger for a while and was up to 12.5 lbs. it didn’t seem to work. How could manual stretching work? Has anyone made permanent gains?
To those of us that have PE’d and gained this sounds like “I dropped out of medical school; how could engineering school possibly work?” Or: “I used a thigh master and my ass is still big; how can crossfit work?” First of; PE does work. It does not work anything like a pay site would have you believe. It takes a long time for most guys. And if you do it wrong you can end up with no gains or even an injured pee-pee.
New guys often have difficulties staying only semi hard whilst jelqing. My problem was the opposite. After only a few sessions my wang figured out no sex was in the offing and that was that. After 4 months or so of dedicated (OCD) hands on PE and no gains I transitioned to hanging.
I am a big fan of hanging but believe that hands on is the way to go for the vast majority of new guys starting out. A majority of guys get a majority of their gains from hand on PE. If/when you do hang the secret is to go as light as possible. Increase time in hanger rather than weight. Increase weight when your hanging gains have slowed. If you have never gained from hanging simply upping the weight every little bit will just toughen your ligs rather than stretching them.
