Manual Stretches- one set or multiple sets

I’ve been doing for a month and a half. I was wondering is it better to do one set stretching in all directions, increasing time of each stretch or is it better to do multiple sets. Currently I am doing multiple sets, but I am considering changing my routine to do one set and doing each stretch for a longer period of time.

Good question. I have been wondering the same thing but haven’t asked asked as I’ve still been combing through the archives trying to find it.

I’ve found a lot that alludes to different conclusions but not yet a fairly firm answer.
