Just updating some information that some may find useful. I basically eliminated jelqs from my routine for 2 reasons. I got the impression that I may have been overtraining my unit and also I wanted to experiment with one approach at a time to see what is effective for me. Thus, I’ve been doing only manual stretches, recently. Just measured semi-flaccid, base girth. Reached a new high. It measured 2.25” width and 6.25” circumference at base. I’m hoping that this will translate to erect measurement but I haven’t and don’t want to measure it until I hit the 2 month training mark, which is June 24/10. My usual routine (with some variation-sometimes I do the stretching twice a day on training day) is the following:

Warm-up
3 sets of 30-40 second stretches (down, straight out, up, to the right, circles)-I have a very slight left curve, I’m trying to correct, hence no left stretch.
50-75 kegels
Warm-down

I train every other day or 2 days on/1 day off. (depending on level of fatigue)

Anybody have any input on just doing manual stretches, with no jelqs? I’ve done a little damage to my unit by overtraining, and believe the cause was jelqing. I am currently taking some time off, and going back with just a stretching routine. Can this be effective?

I was actually thinking about do this. My PI’s haven’t been that great lately, so I made sure to at least get in my stretches. I have descent girth right now, so I’m really after length.

I was thinking about adding an extender later on if and when manual stretches fizzle out and I actually bought the andropenis but I tried it once briefly and got scared crapless as I got a semi-woody and the base opening is significantly smaller than my girth and my penis got clamped unintentially. It really scared me as I panicked to get it off. My idea is manual stretches, then extender, then jelqs, then clamps then a combination of these.

Bohm, from your stats it shows that you’ve already gained .125” from simply stretchin? or was this when you were doing both jelqs and stretching routine? How long was it before you noticed these gains?

Also, I was thinking about getting the sizegenetics device. Seems like a pretty good review on it in this site. It also uses the strap style, which is regarded as safer then the noose style on the andro.

My first few weeks, I over did it. I was training every day. I was doing manual stretching almost exclusively but up to 3 times/day (sometimes more) plus piss stretching and trying to learn proper way to do jelqs (used intermittently with very few reps and low pressure). I did gain length (both flaccid and erect) but my EQ went downhill after an initial increase in EQ. Since then I went to the lower intensity/frequency routine and EQ has gone up once again.

P.S. I don’t recommend the andropenis. Too expensive and the noose style does suck (although I have the updated foam-padded version which is better). The reason I got persuaded to buy this is due to the studies and their recommended progressive stretch training protocol. See link below for studies. I’m not sure I trust the studies completely even though they are published in peer-reviewed journals. I have published myself before and I can tell you that many studies are worse than worthless, because they can steer you in the wrong direction.

I am sure it is possible to gain with just stretches. I gained over a 4 month time period with primary PE activity being stretching and ADS use. I did notice near the end of the 4 months that it seemed like the length of time required for both stretching and ADS use was going up for the same amount of length gain.

The average for me during that time was 100 hours of ADS plus 100 hours of stretching gave me just under an 1/8 inch growth. I was able to keep that up for a little over 3 months but in the end the hours were closer to 130 hours ADS and 140 hours stretching and the 4th month I gained even less, closer to just 1/16 inch.

I went from 7.1825 inches BPEL to 7.5625. I did not like the trend of increasing ADS and stretch time so I stopped the routine, but it was great growth for me. This is well past any newbie gains because those occurred for me a few years ago.

Try V-stretch only to the left, even. Correct/make one like anything

Size now: 8.78 x (not mesured) / 22,3 cm x ??

Short term goal: 10 x 7 Long term goal: empregnate the moon seething home and looking the US's Super Bowl.
