I’m a little bit uncertain about manual streches, because the newbie routine says 30 sec. streches and some other threads says 2 sec.! What will now be the best solution for a newbie?


The two second stretch is commonly referred to as a JAI stretch. Some guys do the thirty second stretch as indicated on the newbie routine, some JAI’s, some both. It all depends what results you get, everyone is different.

Johan (of the JAI school of thought) was not experiencing measurable gains until he began the JAI’s.

Well, I think I will go on for approx. one month with the newbie routine and if I can’t see any results, I will change the routine.
