Mandingo stretch

I’ve read this in MOS also and it says that it can give you 1 inch in a months time but I won’t believe it unless I’ve tried it myself or someone else who has tried give his results.

I agree, Dicko7X5. I found this exercise to be quite painful to the dorsal nerves - and I think it could do more harm than good if you don’t get a healthy grip. Maybe some sort of wrapping as a protection layer would make up for that, but I think I’ll leave it alone to be on the safe side for now.

This stretch is off limits for me. I am not conditioned for it nor do I need it. I have too much left to gain from the newbie routine. I will save this stretch until I reach the stage when my length gains begin to plateau.

It doesn’t look that safe to me - I could be wrong though, not that good in anatomy stuff.

Agreed, that just looks like a bad idea, a definite last resort. P(l)umped bends and horses are about as far as I would go.

Yep I would agree with you there; the stretch is focused on the ventral side. The ventral side is on the outside of the bend, and so it is this side of the shaft, NOT the dorsal side, which takes most of the force.

Despite my length gains (1.5”) I have never really done any stretching. I just tried this, and was rewarded with the biggest semi-erection I have had in my life!

I think this exercise definitely has some value, although you would have to be VERY CAREFUL with it :) .

This exercise could be the holy grail, but needs to be mastered. If you don’t get the right grip it hurts like hell, but if you do it’s a really good stretch. Did any of you get the feeling you were getting engorged (that good feeling) when you held the stretch? (I got to think about that when man-of-10 mentioned the semi erection).

Guys here is an image of the “non-twisting” version of the stretch. I think that if you are worried about causing any damage to nerves, then stick to this one to begin with:

The orignal version which includes the twist will obviously stretch the tunica more but will also pose more of a risk to the dorsal nerves and urethra.

This is pretty off topic, but does anyone know whether increasing BPFSL by doing these kind of stretches can aid girth work?

I just think it’s so ironic that I have had 1.5” of length gains when I do no stretching at all (only girth work). I don’t want anymore length (I’m at 7.7BPEL) but would love more girth (I’m at 5.4”).

Yeah i’ve done some, and i don’t really see the point of the twist. I probably will doing it w/o the twist.

I think I will give this a try!
