Loss of size. length.

Loss of size. length.

After a remarkable first year of Pe (to me at least.) where I gained an inch in length and some girth, though I wasn’t measuring, I finally hit a plateau.

I rested for probably a little over four months and then contracted a urinary infection (which I don’t recommend.) and once I recovered from that, I resumed Pe using only manual stretches and a new determination to master jelqing (which I subsequently failed at.).

This morning I had a particularly earnest erection and decided to measure for the first time since before christmas last year, and to my disappointment I had lost about a quarter inch of length.

As one does in situations such as this I searched for answers and figured that the aggressive manual stretching I had been doing had probably added girth to a degree and possibly taken some length, though I’m not sure about that.

Having dealt with the setback mentally I have resolved to returning to my mechanical stretching device (that I’ve outlined elsewhere on this site) and had a good positive stretching session with it, and am confident that in a few weeks I’ll gain back the lost length and begin back on the path to eight inches!

I don’t think that is a big deal. I think your ligs got tight, that’s all. Once you’ve been stretching a while, it will come back.

Please keep us posted.

I lost length too as a consequence of a too aggressive approach. I was having incredible gains with hanging, than added manual stetching and - boom, lost about an inch and EQ dropped to hell. This convalidated my suspicion that with manual stretching is easy to use way more tension than with hanging - expecially if one is physically strong. Maybe the newbie routine should be changed on this.

Anyway, you’ll have that 1/4” back with more, I’m confident enough on this.

Yeah, thanks guys. I suppose I really pulled those ligaments hard. Sometimes I would be sore for days, and I thought that was a good thing. I will return to the old reliable mechanical stretcher, which puts virtually no stress on the ligaments whatsoever.

I will keep you posted.

Interested to hear what happens.

As a physically strong person, I pull extremely hard and I think that is probably what caused the ligs to tighten. I’m wondering if the tunica can do similar things?

Did you gain any weight during the 4 months? If so a larger fat pad could be the problem. You did not say if the 1/4” loss was NBPEL.

The loss was bp, but I don’t have much fatpad to speak of so that wasn’t the cause.

I think Marinara hit the nail on the head with his comment about too aggressive an approach.

I began manual stretches while lying in the bath and probably just pulled too hard and the ligaments got tight.

I’ve since stopped the stretches and returned to the mechanical stretcher, and I’m not doing that as aggressively either.

a-unit,
Inflammation is the first of the 3 phases of ligament healing. Inflammation causes the retraction we all dread. The good news is that if you are consistent with your routine and avoid an injury that would prevent you from your work then the ligaments will not get a chance to heal in the retracted state.

From what I have read, the worst thing to do is to stop PE to let things heal.

What is “the old reliable mechanical stretcher”?
