I was very very happy after my first week of PE.

I gained almost half an inch from the newbie routine before my first week. I was very pleased, but then I started to slack off (schedule became hectic) and I did not PE for about a month. All my gains are almost gone, and so I’m wondering if PE is permanent?

I am the same way man. I make gains and then all of a sudden my workouts become less and less because I simply don’t have time and then I lsoe all my gains. PE can be permanent but you have to work to cement your gains which will take some time to get.

Yeah man just stick to it.

START: 11/18/08: BPEL- 6 1/8 in. (15cm) x EG 4 3/8 in. (11.3cm)

GOAL: 6 1/2 in. X 5 in. By end of Jan '09

How do I “cement” my gains?

You work at your routine for 4 months solid.

Started: NBPEL 5.5 == EG: 5

Current: NBPEL 7.5 == EG: 6

Goal: NBPEL 8 == EG: 6

12) What does ‘cementing gains’ mean?

When you make a gain, be it FSL or EL, if you stop doing PE it will likely go away. You need a few weeks more of continued PE to ‘cement’ the gain, so that it is permanent. To do this, continue with the routine that got you the gain in the first place. After reaching their goals, most people taper off PE, dropping the amount they do slowly over a period of months to make sure the gains are cemented. This is called the maintenance period. Some will continue to do PE forever, even after reaching their goals for penile health and flaccid hang. Or just plain addiction.

It’s also covered in the glossary:

Cementing Gains
It is believed by many that you will lose recent gains made if you stop doing PE right after the gain. Doing a maintenance routine for 4 weeks is recommended to ‘cement’ the gain

Just a helpful hit so you don’t incur the wrath of the mods.

It’s difficult trying to find the time for a decent, consistent routine. If this is THAT important to you, you will have to find the time somehow. You may want to break your set up do some in the morning some at night. You already know it works, you have see the gains, just ask yourself how much you want it, and come up with something that works for your schedule.

Good luck.

Nice post kegeler.

I started out being the off and on sort of PE’r. Now after six months of commitment, I wish I had realized the potential I wasted during the seven months of inconsistent PE.

Every day you don’t PE should make you worry it won’t get bigger. That’s my philosophy. I don’t believe in planned rest days, as too many days off toughen my ligs and set me back.

I'm consistent in spurts, but gains are undeniable!

2007: BPEL 5.5" / MSEG 4.7" / BG 5.5"

2017: BPEL 6.8" / MSEG 5.3" / BG 6"

It will also help to try and establish a balance between PE and the other things you need/want to do in life. If you neglect an important area too much, you may blame PE and give it up, fearing it is consuming too much time and energy. There is a happy medium that can work for the long haul I believe. Good luck.

Wise rushmore. Think to PE like a good life style activity: like reading some books every year, or doing regular physical workouts.

Exactly, I started losing more sleep because I always did my workouts at night before I went to bed and then I would always fall asleep in classes.

Excuse me? You gained 1/2 ” in one week? What is your dick made of, taffy?

I suspect those first measured gains where taken at a point of maximum post PE deformation.
I can measure almost a half inch gain in BPEL after a good pumping session, but it doesn’t last long.

You need to take your measurements in a normal state after a couple of rest days to be fair to yourself.
