Hello everyone-

Just a quick question. I practice edging during the week a couple times and also try to do it during sexy with my girl. What I’ve noticed here is that the first 1 or 2 times after stopping and not letting myself finish that my erection continues to be hard if not get harder. I’ll kegel to keep myself from finishing. Then on the third or fourth time, my erection quality goes down to about a 6 and if I’m in the middle of sex, I’ll pretty much fall out of her. Is this normal? Or does it mean I shouldn’t be edging as much?

I guess your PC/BC muscle is tired. You should try and kegel everyday to strengthen it more then this shouldn’t happen.

I find that while my erection may get harder while edging and the orgasm more intense, I seem to lose some of the sensation. Lack of sensation could certainly lead to you losing your erection a bit.

If you have sex with condoms on, you would feel an even bigger reduction in sensation. To solve that problem I’d recommend getting a few different types of condoms. I like to have one with something for reducing sensation for when I’ve gone a while without sex (I have a long distance relationship), a standard condom, and an ultra-thin or increased sensation one.

Well, it’s certainly not for lack of sensation that’s for sure, if anything I feel extra sensitive during sex. Condoms aren’t the issue as we aren’t using them.

I think it’s pretty much due to fatigue. I’m not sure how long you’re going at it with your girl, but if you almost come a couple of times and then hold off, you’ve probably been at it for a while. There is also the possibility that you’re having a dry orgasm to some degree.

If you go too far past the ‘point of no return’ and then still stop anything from coming out, the body can be a bit confused, and you start to lose your erection as you would if you had actually ejaculated, since the body can’t tell the difference. Edging is the process whereby you DO NOT cross this point of stimulation. So basically stop stimulating your cock a little bit sooner than you are, and I think you should be fine.

As it is, I bet you can work your way back up to full erection, correct? Obviously this is annoying in the middle of a fuck session though.

Most people can edge for quite a while before they fatigue the PC/BC muscles so I doubt it’s that, though I guess it’s possible if yours is really weak.

Ha, I wish we were going at it awhile! Usually no more than 10-15 minutes tops so I’d hardly call that awhile. I tend to be ultra sensitive with her for some reason, but she is pretty tight too. Interesting point tweaking. I can work back up, but sometimes I need a 5 minute rest and then I’m good to go. If perhaps my PC/BC muscles are weak then I strengthen them by doing kegels?
