Intermittent fasting has positive effects on the genetic level. Fasting (water only, 0 calorie intake) for 1-2 days once a month may be sufficient. It is unnecessary to fast more than 2 days, in fact I usually do that only about 5 times a year. Mainly one day. If you want to see weight fly off quickly in the right places, do moderate exercise daily, a bit of cardio 2-3 times per week, but eliminate bread, pasta, cheese from your diet. Do this for 3 weeks (no don’t try and sneek in a piece of pizza). I think you will be amazed at your results. Fat caliper is a good idea if you care to take an objective approach.

16 hours is the minimum for fastening to be effective. With good planning that’s barely a challenge.

Guys if we are talking generally about fat loss, everybody should know that veggies, protein, moderate good fats like fish, olive oil etc, no carbs at all, 3 litres of water everyday and moderate cardio combined with heavy lifting for low reps will do the trick for anybody.Simple as that.
