Just starting out today and after reading through so much I am confused as hell as to what I need to do for PE!

First started early this year was dedicated and excited, then life hit me and I decided to fold over. I have since overcome my mental issues and am ready to start again. I am reading this forum for the first time I quit and am motivated. I realize its not a race but a journey and I am ready to begin again. Thanks for a great forum experience even for a lurker.

I just started PE a week ago. I am using the newbie routine along with 4 hours a day with a x4 extender.

Welcome aboard, just pay close attention to your PI (physical indicators) especially going with the extender straight up like that, my best advice would be to stick with the newbie routine and wait for a few months before you add the extender :)

Greetings! I joined a while back but never really started. I’ve decided to try and see if PE would work for me. So this is my first post ..

The question I have is is it too late for me? I’m 52 right now, does PE decrease its effectiveness as a guy ages?

Actually older guys seem to gain just as well as young guys do. Plus they seem to be less likely to injure themselves.

I joined Thunder’s Place some years ago, but just now I’ve decided to start PE seriously. Currently working on newbie routine. Thank you all for sharing so much good information and experiences.
