Lose fat pad to gain NBPEL

I’m 6.5 NBPEL right now. My BPEL is 7.5in.

I understand that I can lose up to .5in of fat if I dedicate myself to it. I’m about 177 pounds and 6’0.5 tall. I really want to be up to 7 NBPEL. Is it possible? What kind of workout do I need in order to lose the fat pad?


BPFSL: 7.5in BPEL: 7.25in NBPEL: 6.25in MSEG: 5.2in

Goal: BPFSL: 9.25in BPEL: 9in NBPEL: 8in MSEG: 5.8in

Burn fat, put on some lean muscle.

There is no specific workout that will target your fat pad. Same goes for any other part of your body that you want to lose weight from. Spot reduction does not exist…the only thing you can do is workout while watching what you eat. If you want to reduce your fat pad, then you need to reduce your overall body fat and not try to target it specifically.

Whether accurate or not, I equate losing fat to letting air out of a balloon. You can’t let it out of just one part of the balloon - the balloon shrinks everywhere proportionally to the amount of air lost. Naturally, I’m not including surgery in my analogy.

I think that after a certain age, the fat pad isn’t even fat anymore - it’s just extra hanging skin. Not very aesthetically appealing.
