I used heat (rice sock) as a warm up for 10 minutes before I started my routine, and as a warm down after I finished. Just didn’t use it throughout the routine as Titlest suggested. It makes sense so I’ll add that to my routine when I start back up next year. I think my little guy has just toughened up or something. He just doesn’t seem to respond to PE right now. I think an extended break will do it some good.

Gotcha. Try heat during too, it really helps everything stretch.

I just got done with a 6 month break (not a planned decon, but it worked like one). Didn’t lose much, but when I started up again I basically had to start all over with my hanging weight progression, and I started making very fast gains again. So apparently, at least for me, they do really work.

That’s good to hear. I took a 2 month break last year hoping for results when I started back up but it didn’t make any difference. I’m thinking it was probably too short of a break. Maybe a year will do the job for me.

I would certainly hope so! I don’t know if you would need quite a year, but at least that will absolutely rule out decon as a possible solution for your plateau, or you will start gaining again like crazy!
