After having done stretches consistently for about 2 months now I have noticed that my ligaments feel less elastic. What I mean is that when I was just starting I felt that I could stretch the ligs slightly past their comfortable limit. Now I feel that my ligs are tougher and don’t stretch as much.
Has anyone else noticed this effect? I believe it could be related to scar tissue formation that causes the lig to toughen up. I also think this means that stretching with less force for longer periods of time is better than too much force. I am worried that this seemingly tougher ligament will be harder to lengthen. Any thoughts?
