I know they’re common and usually a good sign, but it honestly scared the hell out of me. I have just started pumping and I did some stretches / jelq’s to warm up. About 20 seconds in to the pump I felt kind of an awkward pressure and then it popped on my right side. I freaked out a bit and released pressure but then realized it was a lig pop. Isn’t that a sign of growth though?

Ok, thanks for the threads to check out Marinera. I think I was just weirded out by the fact that it was while in a pump. Kinda spooked me. I had just remembered someone mentioning they were a good sign in a previous thread but was unable to locate it as I don’t think it directly related to lig pops.

There was a time when it was believed to be a sign of growth. Nowadays vets don’t buy this supposition. There isn’t anything to worry about lig-pops, either.

How much pressure were you using with your pump, instead? An high amount of force is generally required for having a lig-pop.

I usually only have lig pops when I am having sex, I didn’t realize there was threads on the subject.


PE Goal: 7.5" NBP x 5.8" MSG

I’m doing 2 sets of 4-5 min at 4 in. Hg. I figured that was low enough and I’m mixing some jelqing / stretching before and inbetween them. It’s not an extremely intense routine and I’m doing 2 days on 1 off. Is 4 Hg still too much? i barely feel any pull at anything less. I think part of it is I’m using a 2.25” cylinder and so it lets a little more in on the sides and gives me more of an outward stretch. It actually feels really good for length which I find interesting. Not sure if any of that is scientifically backed up in any way but If I see any good length gains from it I’ll let everyone know.

I agree, it doesn’t seem an extreme routine.

I will eventually ramp it up but since I’m still technically a newbie I didn’t want to go overboard with the pumping. I figured doing a small amount would be a nice edition to the newbie routine especially with 1.5 months already under my belt. I’m interested in pumping particularly because I really only would like to add girth as I already bottom out on the girl I’m currently with (5’2” 98 lbs).

Haha, well I wouldn’t say that. I gotta get my girl to start doing kegels cause even for me, she feels loose. We’ve been together for 2 years now and I’m glad I can find a way around this feeling of lack of girth. I think having her meet me half way is the best. Fortunately she already knows about the P.E. so I’m hoping talking to her about kegels isn’t too rough. The only awkward thing is we can’t do a few positions easily because of the height difference. I’m 6’1” so 11 inches taller than her and almost exactly double her weight.

It seems to me that women will stretch to your size, no matter how big you are. I think all women should kegel, (threads on this one already), for vaginal health and pleasure for both parties. If more women did their part on this, the penis size issue, would probably not be an “ISSUE”. Yes?

I agree completely. I’m hoping by having her do kegels and me enlarge my girth via jelqing and pumping that I get a nice feeling of tightness.

Currently (as of 04/3/09): 8.50" BPEL, 7.6" NBPEL, 5.7"EG, (5.5"-7" varying) FL, 4.75" FG, Height: 6'1", Weight: 175 lbs. (final semester of Computer Science > Gym :( )

Goals (in the next 6 months): 8.60" BPEL, 7.8" NBPEL, 6" EG, 7" FL, 5" FG, (still hopefully 6'1"), Weight: 200 lbs.

That should be accomplished with her kegeling. (no need to add girth, unless you just want to)

Where you just doing pumping and the lig popped? Maybe I shouldn’t consider pumping.

I think it was related to me stretching extra hard beforehand. I had it most of the way and the pump just put it over the edge. Actually though, I recommend pumping, I’m enjoying it a lot so far.
