Lifestyles Survey

Lifestyles Survey

Why would lifestyles use bpel measurements for its survey? As a condom company nbp data would be much more useful.

Example. I am 7 bpel, but the fat pad takes away 1 inch. Also my base girth is larger than midshaft so the condom actually rolls up another inch anyway. So pretty much I am only using 5 inches of the condom.

I agree with you. I don’t think that these surveys are done BP, as it makes little to no sense to do so. We use BP because it is a more accurate way of measuring gains. I maintain that those numbers probably sit somewhere between BP and NBP, but probably do not represent a static measuring style.

Starting (10 / 2006): 5.8~BPEL, 5~BG ----> Current: 7.6 BPEL, 5.6 BG ----> Goal: Pringles Can

I don’t have any way of confirming this .. But I don’t think that LifeStyles is doing the survey to get data that they will use to perfect their condom sizes.

I would be willing to bet a car payment that LifeStyles did their survey so that guys like us would read it and analyze the results upside down and backwards until we had beaten them into submission .. All-the-while we would be sending e-mails back and forth referring to the “LifeStyles” survey and hopefully buying 12-packs of their rubbers.

There is MOST DEFINITELY some market research employee of LifeStyles that maintains an account on this forum and regularly reads the updates to figure out how the “condom-buying” population thinks. If LifeStyles wants guys like us to read and use their survey , they will know that the measurement that we most frequently track is BPEL since that is the most reliable way to track gains.

That is just my guess
