Length inhibiting girth gains?

Some people seem to agree with each other that more girth means harder length gains. But does more length mean less girth gains? And what about length gains, do you think they have any effect on girth gains?

Id rather work girth first with my starting stats (7.75 x 4.5) if the answer to the above questions would be yes or even remotely doubtful.

Well, I’ve seen a few guys here that start to develop tremendous lenght and have a real hard time on the girth department, but I really don’t think that’s a rule, since it’s actually kind of an advice people get when in the beginning of they’re PE career that they should work on lenght before and after that, girth. It’s just my opinion, tho.

The main thing is that if you want to see gains, you MUST be consistent in your routine. If you put in alot of time and detication then you should see results. Plain and simple.

I think if you just look at the gains people have it pretty much suggests that girth is hard to gain overall. The vast majority of progress stuff I’ve seen here shows that you’re gonna get length almost no matter what you do (at the very least during newb gains) while girth takes a lot of effort and time. Even then I don’t see many big girth gainers. The biggest one that comes to mind is Kingpole. He’s the only one I can recall that’s made over an inch in girth.

But that’s just based on my observations.

You say you have been doing the Newbie routine since August. If this has been continuous, then perhaps you need to try something different for girth

Probably a pump would be effective for you A 1.5 diameter tube would be too small for you so a 1.75 diameter would be best to start with

But do read up about pumping in the Pumpers Forum. And don’t use too much vacuum

In my case getting more girth is also hardest than lenght. If you are beginning now, you should be aware that the main route in order to get girth is jelq, jelq, jelq and then jelq some more (don’t overtrain though), once you have your penis used to PE you can do more advanced routines.

Luck getting gains, first months are when you get the most.

I’d like to stress that if you’re gaining just fine with jelqs there’s no reason to go to something more advanced. I think going to something more advanced for the sake of doing something more advanced is just conditioning.

Are you sure about the cylinder size? According to http://www.lapdist.com/sizing.htm, the 1.5” diameter tube is the appropriate one.

I also want girth only for the moment since im 7.5 x 4.7 but I just can’t gain any girth. So I might as well hang to 8-9” then do girth surgery (hopefully by then, there will be more safe methods out there).


Start: 6.3 BPEL x 4.5 MSEG & 4.5 BSEG

Now: 7.7 x 4.7 x 5.5 BSEG

Goal: 8 x 6

I have discovered that for me, focus is required to get girth gains, so I have split my jelquing from my manual stretches.

This month I experimented with jelquing + ADS only and I gained about 5mm in girth however I only gained 2-3mm in length.
When I was doing combined jelquing + manual stretching + ADS I gained 5mm per month in length but my girth gains were insignificant.

At the end of the week I will start 1-2 months focusing on length - manual stretching + ADS only to see if I can gain more than 5mm per month.

I will keep doing the newb routine until the end of the year and see if i gain any more girth. Maybe stretch a bit less. If i do not gain girth i will turn up the girth work a notch when the new year starts. And use focus like dongalong to get girth.

Currently doing 15 min wet jelqing. Some days a bit of dry jelqing, but never more than 10 min. Few squeezes here and there. And manual stretching for 10 min in various directions.

Length I have gained for sure. With girth its hard to tell. Maybe 1/16 or 1/8 (max!), but when im very strict to myself its probably nothing at all.

I think most of you did not understood my question. Simply put, will a 9x4.5 will have a harder time with girth than a 5x4.5?

Actually I would think the opposite. Seems to me the longer length would make Jelqing a lot easier, due to more blood being in your unit. But obviously without comparing people together that’d be almost impossible to tell.

Might be worth asking slipstream to run some filters on his averager (check the link “What’s the Average Size?” in my sig)

Thats one way of looking at it. Another way of looking at it is that youre penis will need more time and pressure to create more “tissue” and to expand more tissue. Also more rest will be needed.

Though im just speculating theory.

Dude, if you aren’t seeing expansion and a thicker penis during and after your routine, do you think there is any reason you should be gaining girth? :P
