Length first then girth?

Hi bros quick question,
I was thinking should one work harder on length first and then do girth? Or would doing a lot of girth work compromise length gain?

I’ve seen posts about it but I did a search and could not find a thread about it.



Take any gain you get, in either direction, is my philosophy. So many of the excercises influence both.



I don’t think girth gains compromise length gains at all. Work on both simultaneously. The exercises compliment each other very well.


I would suggest for a newbie to jelq/stretch for both. But if you want both girth and length, I would recommend you hang before you clamp or pump. I believe more girth makes it harder to stretch for length.

I’m with seyz on more girth makes it harder to stretch… I also think girth excersizes and length excersizes in PE sometimes compliment each other well.

If anyone could expand on this it would be appreciated! (Length/girth gains, and different approaches to training.. Especially at the noob level)

I’m recommended to go for length first. But I believe fighting for both length and girth is the best.

For me, I’d love to see some more girth gains, that’s why I do more jelqs than stretching.
