Length Before Girth
Ok, been PEing off and on for a couple years. Most I’ve gone is like a month strait. I’ve actually seen some pretty decent gains considering.
Anyway, been reading for a while but I’ve never posted. I’m really getting serious about this (just started newbie routine up again) and I’ve got some fairly lofty goals. I understand it’s going to be a LONG process to get where I want to be and am in no big rush.
Now lets say I stick with it and do the basics for a good 3-6 months (I’ll gauge the appropriate intensity level). Lets say I make it beyond this point and into more advanced routines. My question: is it a general consensus around here that you should work on length gains before doing hardcore girth exercises? Does it matter? Do you have to “specialize”? Also, is hanging the generally accepted most effective method for length? If I do hang, I’m going to wait till I’m a good few months in anyway.
Help is much appreciated, and point me in the direction of other threads if it’s easier. I tried a search to no avail. Thanks fellas!
