I’m sure like many folks here, a particular incident drove me to try PE. Something happened to motivate me, but I’m not sure I can look at it through an objective lens, so I want the input of others.

I had a sexual experience with a girl a few weeks ago. When she first saw my penis, she said “mazel tov!” insinuating I was well-endowed. However, after I complained that she was being a little rough with the hand-job, we started talking about past experiences, and how she thought that’s what guys liked. Then she conjectured that maybe it was because I was “built differently.” After pressing her about it a little bit, she admitted that the few guys she had been with in the past, while shorter, had wider penises. You always hear about how girth is more important, so this was a shot to the ego, to say the least. So I decided to do something about it, if possible.

I figured given her sample size of 3 previous guys, coming in 4th must mean I’m narrow. Unfortunately, that’s hard for me to determine, because averages for girth are so hard to find and vary quite a bit in terms of results and measuring methodology. In short, I have no idea what I have. Anyway, my measurements are as follows:

4.75 flaccid (grower status), 7.8 bone-pressed length, 5.25 girth at the base, and 4.85 girth mid-shaft.

It seems that my length is above average, while my girth is, well - I have no idea. Anecdotal evidence would suggest below average, statistics would suggest perhaps right around average.

My question is whether I should be concerned about my girth, and whether I can really change it significantly and safely. The warning to newbies about permanent injury is very sobering, and I know a lot of guys would kill to have a penis my size. Am I in the “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” kind of situation, or is it skinny enough to be concerned?

Your girth isn’t really that bad and your length is good. It may be that she thought your girth was smaller because your length was greater.

Do exactly what Memento said, and make a start on the newbies routine while you read like a madman for a few months before changing anything, this will give your penis time to become accustomed, and for you to get to know about PI’s and get to know your penis before you move on to girth work.

Your girth is average. She thought that because of your length. The same happens to me but in reverse. They think I am smaller in length because of my girth.


Starting 20/02/2013: NBPEL 6 inches; EG 5,85 inches

Current : 7.2 NBPEL

Second Goal : NBPEL 8 inches; EG 6 inches

You have a good length and you girth is average. If you want girth then aim for it and you will get there brother you will see. And for the comment of coZma we have the same problem. When I look at my penis in measure time its 5.8 to 6 and when I look at it it appears super tiny because of the girth of 5.25-5.30 more or less. And also I have a fat pad.

You definitely want to go for girth to balance the visual appearance. It would be a little different if you were between 6 and 7, but your additional length is blunted by only average girth. Especially, since you can add a good .25 to .5 in about 6 months time; assuming the expansion factors are there to exploit.

Thank you all for the replies. After doing the newbie stuff, what do you think is the safest way to get there? I’ve read about the permanent damage from PE, and I definitely don’t want to end up with ED later in life. I’m thinking light jelqs and pumping. Thoughts?

You could always start slowly with some more erect Jelqing and see what that brings you, start simple and get more complicated if simple stops working :)

Average is about 6 inches NBPEL and 5 inches MS-EG. I think you have enough length, you should work on girth and get it to at least 5.5 MS-EG and/or 6.0 MS-EG. I also agree that your penis is pretty long and that may make your girth look not as big.

Don’t worry about it man. I started at a similar girth to yours and my main concern was that I hated being average in girth and wanted to fill pussy up more. Do your PE and stay consistant, but dont have too much expectations as girth gains come in slower than length gains (for most people, that is). Goodluck.

Slowly increase the intensity of your jelqing slower strokes, tighter grip, and see how that goes. 2 months is only just starting, think marathon not sprint.

Read as much of the archives as you can, you will learn a lot from what is not on the front page of the newspaper :)

By the way “What do u guys” should be “What do you guys”. Proper grammar will help everyone understand, especially for those people who use English as a second language, and is highly recommended here :)

People are a little paranoid over the possibility for injury, the penis is one tough customer. I have folded, spindled and mutilated my soldier and it always appears at roll-call. Its like any other workout, you just go and use commonsense. I guess there will be variability between individuals but I haven never been close to an injury and hanging 30lbs, and squeezing until all colors of the rainbow have only made erections like rebar and a volume of a small swimming pool.
