Hi,
I’ve been PEing for about 3 months now. I have bought L-argnine today and I am wondering of taking it straight after my PE session. So basically after jelq and stretch, as my unit is worked, I would take one.
I know one has to cycle a week on and a week off. I a bit shaky, first time I’m about to take a supplement, hope all will be alright. The capsules seem to be huge. So anyone tried a similar approach? If I take now for, say a month, then I will stop is my eq going to be messed up or will it return to the state that it is in now ? (My EQ a about a 7 in the 1-10 classification I have read here at thunders). So if anyone can assure me that I’m not going to mess myself up it would be really swell and I would be grateful! :)

L-arginine is a naturally occurring amino acid and lots of guys here take it. I usually take 2000mg a day. It improves blood flow and cum loads.

The best time to take L-arginine is on an empty stomach with 8 ounces of water. I have never heard about cycling it on and off. I take it everyday. And yes, the pills are huge. :)


The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

Thanks GPrent, glad to know. I read that L-arginine (sorry for the mistake in spelling before) produces some kind of, well, don’t know if substance is the right word for it, in your body that is why it’s important to cycle. I could be wrong and I probably am but I read it somewhere here on thunders.

Yeah, if there was a classification as there is with unit size, with pills then these would definitely be the 10 inch monsters in the pill world, haha.

I’ve been taking it for almost a year with no side effects, and no cycling. Start out slow (500mg) empty stomach first thing in the morning, and work your way up to 2000mg. I take it twice a day, 1000mg in the morning, and 1000mg before last meal. It does work!

So in the morning and evening rather than after a PE workout? I read it kicks in half an hour after one takes it. Does it mean I will have to be in a sitting position for the next couple of hours once I take it? :)

I understand timing is important, meaning keeping the time consistent everyday?

L-Arginine is an amino acid, mainly used due to it’s function as a precursor for Nitric Oxide. Nitric Oxide is released upon muscle contraction and acts as a vasodilator (amongst many other things). The need to cycle L-Arginine is well documented as your body will quickly adjust down Nitric Oxide production to compensate for the boosted levels of available precursor.

This will make me unpopular I’m sure but: consuming standard unmodified L-Arginine in doses less than 10g + will have little to no effect since L-Arginine breaks down on mass before it passes through your intestinal membranes.

My advice is: buy yourself some bulk powder Ethyl Ester Arginine (much better bio-availability) and take 0.5-1.5g 3x a day everyday for 2 months on 1 month off.

I use it for weight lifting and it works great! :)

It tastes like crap, mix it with some orange juice or similar however and it’ll taste just fine.

Ill try the capsules I bought today first, one week on and one week off I’m thinking. Then maybe the powder if I don’t see much or no effect. So do you feel any EQ improvement after the powder? Have you tried both powder and pills?

Yes! EQ improvement is one of the many positive effects of taking L-Arginine supplement. It’s generally well advised in the world of weight lifting to purchase either Ethyl Ester Arginine or alpha-ketoglutarate Arginine. Ethyl Ester is better absorbed, whilst alpha-ketoglutarate is a precursor for the amino acid Glutamine which may increase strength and muscle gain. Good luck either way! :)

Roughly after how many days are the results visible? I know it varies with everyone, but I was wondering roughly.
