Simple question. The rest days apply to kegels?


Started last week. 10/23/2017

BPEL: 6.4 x 5.5

BPEl: February 2020. 7.2 x 5.5

Some will say yes. I went from bad to good EQ never taking off from kegels though. Smaller muscles tend to respond better to volume. Throw in reverse kegels and you’re good to go IMO.

Good question, another one that is related. Do reverse kegels respond better to long holds or high reps? I would assume high reps or a mix of both, but I seem to see a lot of talk about reverse kegels holds for longer periods of time.

You can “aggressively” reverse kegel, concomitant with outward tension in your lower abdomen and stiffening your trunk. I figure those would be relatively shorter duration. Then you can reverse kegel but just going for a “letting go” feeling, and those I do and hold all day. When I was addressing an imbalance in fact, I would actually hold them all day and only stopped when I forgot. Helped greatly with EQ.

Now I combine these with high intensity regular kegels for as long as I can hold, but those are much shorter.

It seems that, besides our wrists, the human bodies extensor (push) muscles are naturally stronger than our flexor (pull) muscles.

How the reverse kegels work? My kegel routine is not so consistent. The final time its aways the same, but not the repetition

It feels like you’re trying to blast out pee, almost like taking a bowel movement through your penis. That kind of sensation. The muscles aren’t felt as distinctly as the regular kegels.

Okay sounds good. Yeah when I started trying to do them (as of recently) I noticed I was kind of flexing my abs and wasn’t sure if I was doing them correctly. But what you described seems similar to what I’m doing, and like you said they definitely are very subtle compared to regular kegels. I will have to keep it up and get more familiar with them. Appreciate it.

No problem. Make sure your focus doesnt drift up, the ab tensing should be a by product.

Kegels really helps a lot with EQ. At first you can take rest days but when you are conditioned it is not necessary. Now my muscle is so strong that i can make even my flaccid bounce.

I cant really see the point of practising reverse kegels. I just push by holding my breath.

Hm I’ve found that using reverse kegels while erect helps maintain the state for longer with less effort. I don’t push by holding my breath though. Also I’ve found that once I started incorporating reverse kegels throughout my day outside of my PE routine I had a noticeable increase in EQ, but it was around the time I started my general kegel routine so maybe it isn’t related
