After holding your kegel for 5 secs when you release what is the recommended rest time 5 secs, so 5 and 5. Does anyone hold there keel for longer please let me know about your varied results.

I do 12 x 10 sec hold
10 x 1 sec hold
1 30 sec hold

all with equal rest times so, 10 sec hold = 10 sec rest
1 sec hold = 1 sec rest

there’s no right and wrong though, find a groove and stick to it :)

How many reps do you guys usually start with? I have heard alot of good things about doing kegels, and want to use them as part of my beginning routine. Thanks for any input.

I am/was doing three kind of Kegels:
- quick ones (1sec, no really resting, just pump continually), usually in rhythm with a nice music
- fast ones (10sec hold, 5 sec rest)
- long ones (30 to 60 sec hold, 30 sec rest)

I recommend to do the fast ones first, then the long ones (very tiring if you really do it right!) and finally the quickies at the end of the Kegel routine. Do not be surprised to find yourself slightly sweating after a workout going beyond 15 to 20 minutes. You do not move, just sit upright in a chair (best position for me), but you feel you do muscle work, so sweat may occur. And it really needs focus on contractions and timing. Get a Swiss watch for precision! :-)

I started with 5min fast / 1 min quick / 5 min long. I then increased gradually over 4 weeks up to 5min quick / 15 min fast / 30 min long Kegels.

Did it for another 2 months, my EQ really went up noticeably. This was an intentional high-intensity routine done every day for building up a very high EQ. It worked, but is very time consuming, although I could do it during train commuting. It is very discreet for a PE exercise :-)

Now I went back since 1 month to a light maintenance routine of 5min quick and 10min fast Kegels. I do it about 3 times a week. It seems to be sufficient to keep the desired level of erection fitness.

not directly, but if you are able to intentionally pump blood in your dick some exercises might be more effective.

Like jelqing, when the erection goes down (which is frequent), get a grip at the base, pump up to desired hardness and the jelqing show can immediately go on.
