Kegels suck

Two things:

One, if you are lasting 45 minutes, raw, why are you kegeling? That’s alot of erectile capbality.

Two, OVER exercise of any body muscle causes temporary weakness.

I myself can be compulsive about muscle training. When I was younger, I always was strongest after a week’s vacation because I was forced NOT to overtraing for seven days.

Without enough rest time, muscles will grow very weak and sore. Stop kegeling for one week and see if you don’t last over an hour in bed(that is, if your lover can stand it). If you are much improved by the long rest, chances are you have been overtraining your pc muscle.

From my understanding, Kegels will strengthen the muscles that force blood into the penis. So the point of kegels is not to lengthen your staying power but to increase your erection strength. When I’m about to orgasm I can kegel and feel how it “momentarily” blocks orgasm, but to continually block the orgasm I presume you would have to CONSTANTLY KEGEL. Which isn’t a whole lot of fun!

And what I posted earlier - Erection strength creates greater friction which causes you to orgasm much faster. I for one love having a Solid Erection for a little loss of staying power.

Am I really incorrect here in my assumptions?

I didn’t read the whole thread, but I will say that a strong PC (BC) can enable nearly constant squeezing (pleasurable contractions) during sex, which in turn can expedite orgasm. The key to lasting in the sack is to relax the PC muscle when you’re “accelerating” too fast, even though it feels great to squeeze the hell out of it the whole time.

Having a strong PC via kegels, in other words, is not causing the problem inevitably, in my opinion. You just need to exert more effort in relaxing your PC muscle during sex, since it is now super-strong through the kegels and is tending toward automatic constant contraction.

Kegels, for me, create extra sensitivity not only in the penis, but also the balls, and all the way to the poopshoot (prostate?).

Intense kegels alone, without aid of hands, vagina, or whatever it may be (it better not be armpits, or you are a sick, sick man), can already create the feeling of a light orgasm. It would be hard to control ejaculation with kegels if kegels alone can almost make you ejaculate in the first place.

I’d imagine that many feel this as a result of kegels, while others might not have such feelings, due to lower starting sensitivity, or whatever it may be.

But how are kegels to blame for lessening stamina?

I agree that when I kegel while having sex it makes me want to come quicker. Solution: don’t kegel while having sex unless you’re trying to make your dick harder for various reasons.

But it seems you’re saying that kegels alone create a long-term increased sensitivity in your lower regions even when you are not kegelling? Is that really true? And is it just kegelling or all forms of PEing? I do know that PEing in general makes me more sensitive from use and soarness. But I account most my increased sensitivity to my great increase in the hardness of my erections.

I started kegels just as an experiment and recently I have found I do them automatically and have to try to relax them. When I want to get hard I would usually kegel to a solid erection and would sumtimes kegel during sex. Don’t know why, wasn’t by choice. Habit I guess. Going to quit kegels and see what happens

Look. It is impossible that by kegeling you lower your staying time. I.M.P.O.S.S.I.B.L.E. Sorry, but it has to be the fact that the muscle is repairing after the workout – this is extremely probable if you are new to kegeling. Trust me, in a few days (two if you eat right, sleep right, etc.) you will have greatly enhanced staying power. You need to remember that whenever you reach ‘the point of no return’ you halt stimulation and tense the PC muscle, which gives you an orgasm without ejaculating your load (but you may give off a little pre-cum) if timed correctly. Practise with masturbation, but it is wise never cum during masturbation – save that for the ladies. You guys in here need to calm down and stop asking ridiculous questions like: “Hang on; you’re saying kegels made you cum prematurely??!!!1111” Of course he said that you dolts. This guy obviously is a little confused and new to this whole thing and it is natural to express your experiences and worries, especially if you have a large community available to do so. Does it matter if you kegel when your erect of flacid?

I do them when I’m erect only because when I do them flacid it doesn’t feel like I’m doing anything.

When I first started kegeling (oh, well over three years ago), I too did not feel much whilst being at flaccid. There is no difference between being flaccid and erect, in my personal experience. Carry on working it however best you feel it works for you, but you may find that kegeling while at work, in the car, etc. is best whilst flaccid. In time you will definitely feel the contraction when flaccid. Good luck :) .

If I were you, after a few weeks of kegels start edging.

It kind becomes a habit.

This is how it usually happens:

Throughout the day, whenever you think of your penis, you start kegeling. Eventually, you will kegel while you are doing other things. This makes it easier for you to uncounciously kegel.

When you think of your penis the most (while you are having sex), you kegel uncounciously.

This happens to a lot of men, and is usually the reason for ejaculating quickly. Having a stronger PC muscle structure is not the reason. It is because, as Para said a few posts up, you are not relaxing the PC muscles during sex.

Try relaxing the muscles.

Once your PC muscles become much stronger, you will be able to clamp off the penis before you orgasm — stopping the ejaculation process all together.
