What’s the downside of “overdoing” kegels? Any personal experience you want to share?

I just had accustomed myself a few days ago to doing 50 kegels as what the newbie routine specifies. Shall I just limit it then to 30 kegels per PE session?

Your pelvic floor muscles are skeletal muscles. They can get overworked, which makes them weaker.

Also, overworking your pelvic floor makes it tight, too tight, which affects EQ, and may cause premature-ejaculation.

A balanced pelvic floor is strong, and healthy. Increases EQ, and allows you more control to last longer.

And don’t forget to relax your muscle between contractions/reps.

I’ll take it easy on my kegels.

To put it simply, exhausted pelvic floor muscles don’t have the power-energy to sustain a rock hard erection.

Very tight pelvic floor muscles can and will cause you to ejaculate without even knowing that it’s coming in some cases.

You need your pelvic floor muscles worked, not overworked or underworked by any means.

Choose the path in the middle.

So how often and how many reps do you do your kegels?

20-30 3 sec hold kegels every other day should be enough, in my opinion.
