For anyone who is unfamiliar with the term kundalini, think of it as a pool of energy at the base of your spine. It’s understood much better in the east than here in the west. It can evolve your consciousness but can also potentially be harmful if you’re not careful.

For those of you who are familiar with it, here’s my question:
I have had some nasty experiences with kundalini (the first was a spontaneous awakening) and it’s not really an area I want to dive into at this point in time. Unfortunately for me, once it’s tapped it makes it easy to release. Doing kegel exercises makes me feel like I’m stirring up some kundalini. I want to get those muscles strong, but I don’t want to raise my kundalini. What should I do?

I know exactly what you are talking about. Yes, kegeling is an exercise that has been used for centuries to jump start the K and keep it going. If you want the name and website of an excellent K person in Denver just PM me.

Now with the kundalini problem, you can handle it in two ways. First off, may sure you charas are open, the only time you have problems with kundalini fire, is when a chara is blocked. When you look at this you have to keep in mind that kundalini is natural. Ok if you don’t want to go that route, and you just don’t want to deal with it, there is a thing called a lock, if you we’re to hold your arms outright, this will lock up the kundalini, and keep it at the base of your spine. I hope this helps you out
