Kegel question

I’m thinking about doing kegels on a daily basis, but as I rarely do these how many should I start off with and should they be done in sets through out the day, I’m asking this as I don’t want to over do them.

Hi Lightweight, I do them in sets and I do them Daily, and when I’m driving etc…

I tend to do main set after warmdown, usually 75 in sets of 15 so that’s 5 sets.

I started at 50 and have settled on 75 for no particular reason.

In my opinion it made quite a difference to my EQ. You can do them erect or flacid too.

Hmm might be a little offtopic, but.. I do kegels only when my penis is in errection state, do kegels have the same effect when the penis is in flaccid mode. Since when I’m driving a car, I don’t think I could drive with the errection for too long + focusing on kegling. Hehe.

Personally I think it’s the same idea, you are flexing the muscle, whether you have an erection or not isn’t of great importance. If you do have an erection though it’s a lot easier to tell you are flexing the BC muscle because it starts jumping.

So basically are the erect ones are better to isolate the bc muscle as you can see that it’s working.

I think doing Kegel erect do let you “see” that you are doing it correctly and get used to the feeling then doing it flaccid is no problem.

You can’t really “over-do” Kegels. It’s a muscle that recovers very quickly. More like your abdominals than your biceps, if you see what I mean.

You can (and should) do a Kegel routine daily. What a few of us here feel is that beyond a certain point doing more and more, while not harmful, is not helpful. The benefits of a Kegel routine usually top off after 100 or so a day - so doing 200, while entertaining, is not really any better for you than doing 100. Everyone is a bit different, so it bears some experimentation on each individual’s part.

The Newbie Routine recommends 50 a day; done flaccid right after a jelqing/stretching regimen after a warm down. I’d say that’s a solid base to start from. You can increase that at your own discretion and see what is optimal for you.

Personally I do mine when commuting on the subway, or at a boring meeting, or while watching some chick-flick that I’m only half-interested in. It’s a great way to make some use out of down time.

And the benefits are obvious. :D

I have hardly had morning wood since my relationship ended 8 month ago, but the ex said i used to get morning wood all the time.

Could just be the fact that there is no one in the bed with me now to tell me lol.

I’ve got no idea why i don’t get morning wood anymore, i couldn’t really say the last time i woke and was rock hard. I have had times where i over masturbate maybe that is a factor ?

I need to work more kegels into my routine, i’ve been jazzing up the newbie routing along with some other methods to add in later. Hmm, hopefully i’m not doing too much too soon, but we will see eventually.

Having too much stop start right now so, i think im going to de-condition and solidify my routine, Kegels ftw.
