Us normal folk get desensitized by just watching a lot of porn. How is it that porn stars - people who are around fucking for hours on end as their professional job - don’t end up in the same boat. Seems to me they would have to become desensitized to sex, too, right?

Same here . I think it has partly to do with age.
I used to rent 2 or 3 porn tapes at a time for recreation when I was bored or horny.
Now I think it’s a waste of time.

Same with strip clubs. They bore me to death, but mainly because the girls are all business - they don’t socialize like they used to - unless, of course, you pay them.
I won’t do lap dances. I find it completely pointless to have a naked girl squirming and grinding against me and I can’t do anything with her.
I’m tired of being teased. I want the real thing or nothing.

My guess is that because the girls in porn do what you see in porn; most wives/girlfriends aren’t cum guzzling whores who love ass-to-mouth.

In other words, the stimulation they are getting is of the same caliber as what they would see in porn (if they do indeed actually watch porn).

Right, but no matter what you’d get tired or accustomed to it. Think of it from a completely different angle - if you worked in a funeral home eventually you’d become numb to and disinterested in death.

I was about to say what determination just said. Since there’s no fantasy or imagination involved it doesn’t desensitize the brain at all.

They may get tired of it but not desensitized. I think also the conditions of the taping of the scenes might make the whole process tedious and that might lower their enthusiasm a bit. Again, not the same thing.

They don’t shoot every single day. Well most don’t. I think even the ones in most high demand shoot maybe 3 times a week. So that’s just 3 marathon sex sessions. It’s not like they’re porn addicts who spend hours everyday on a computer looking at more and more hardcore stuff.

Plus they have to have a high libido to work in that industry.
