Just starting out and I have a question about jelqing

Hi everybody, I’ve been lurking the forum for a couple weeks now and I decided to make an account and give PE a try. I plan on following the newbie routine, but I have a question. From what I can tell, jelqing seems to be mainly focused on increasing girth, I know you can get some length from it as well, but it seems like stretching is more geared towards actual length gains. I took my measurement before I signed up, and my length and girth both came out to 5.75” after measuring several times to make sure I was getting accurate results. So, my question is, would it still be effective if I did the newbie routine without the jelqing and just focused on stretching? I’m not completely against jelqing, especially if my girth starts suffering from not doing it, but, at least in the beginning, would a stretching only routine work, or would I just be wasting my time? Thank you in advance for any help.

There is a reason we recommend the Newbie Routine in its entirety. You can do as you like but the most effective start is the Newbie Routine as it is, no changes for 90 days.

The Newbie routine isn’t so much for gains, as it is for improve EQ and better conditioning of your member. For gains in the future and doing more advanced routines, you first have to go through the Newbie routine.

It would be a good idea to click on the Beginners Guide
Lots of good information on what Thunders is all about, including best practices and safety tips.

It is always recommended to start with a beginners routine and continue with it for 90 days or until you stop gaining. Start slowly and build up to the full routine over a few weeks. This will condition your dick for more advanced routines.

Jelq with an erection level between 40 and 70%. Do not grip too tight, just enough to feel blood moving up the shaft. When stretching, grab your shaft about one inch below the glans and do not pull too hard, just enough to to feel a slight stretch. Let your PIs be your guide as to how hard to pursue your routine.

Dont forget to take good starting measurements and photos so you have a solid base to compare your gains to.
