Hello I have been looking at this site for a while and finally started the newbie routine for 4 days now. Just from this short amount of time I have noticed a larger flaccid hang and extremely hard erections. I have not measured but I assume at this rate I should probably get a starting measurement to compare with later. The only problem is I am experiencing slight pain on top of my penis base where it meets my abdomen. It sort of feels like a bruise if my penis is stretched or poked. My routine has been to warm up in the shower with very hot water, then about 10 10 second stretches in various directions and then 100 wet jelqs. Is this excessive and do you think I have caused any damage?

A lady friend that I met online is coming to visit in 2 months. I hope to have some real results by then from what I read that may just be possible!

Relax until the bruise/pain is no more. Don’t do the exercices till then or do them softly and stick to the newbie routine.

Hey Lxuke! yeah! that’s perfectly normal. that’s what happened to me as well during the first few weeks. it only means your ligaments are being worked out greatly so it becomes sore, thus you experience mild pain like you said. in fact, i consider this as a good sign since i always base the effectivity of my stretching routine on sore ligs. i think your routine is okay. don’t increase the intensity and number of repititions until gains stop completely. good luck to you! and sure you will become bigger in 2 months. just stay dedicated! all the best!

I’ve had the same problem. PE shouldn’t be painful. I interupted my workout until the pain was gone, then I started with a lighter routine.

I suggest you do the same. I’ve got this advice from some more experienced guys.

What you are feeling are your ligs. They are probably a little tender from the shock. Rest up a couple of days and ease back into your routine. Make sure you are THOROUGHLY warmed up before you start, As well as warming down (very important). Listen to your body, And rest as needed. This is a LONG process, Don`t risk injury by rushing it or over-doing it.

Warming down? How is this done?

Warming down is the same as warming up. Apply heat to your penis the same way you did in the warmup. It’s the same thing as in exercise or weightlifting. You start with a warmup (jogging, cycles, star jumps whatever) to get the heart pumping and blood flowing. You do your workout, and then you ease off and warm down by doing the similar thing to the warmup. The difference is with PE, it’s not jogging but a rice sock, hot cloth or heat pad.

I think they are talking more about soreness from jelqing (which can be dangerous). For soreness related to stretching it’s a bit different. Because it’s not really possible to injure yourself while stretching or let’s just say that it’s extremely hard to do.

Even so waiting for the soreness to go away would be a good idea but lig soreness is nothing to worry about and like others said probably a good sign.

All I have to say is wow! The last time I remember measuring before I started PE I was 5.5” NBPEL and I just measured today after my session: 7” BPEL 5.25” EG!! AMAZING! This is only after 1 week! .Why didn’t I start sooner :P

P.s. I just trimmed up down there and realized how much more comfortable it is to jelq without pulling all that hair, good stuff :P
