Just how many days a week is ideal for PE

I’ve spent hours over the past few days going through the various member progress diaries, and I can’t seem to arrive at an answer for this question. I know PE isn’t like weight-training because the penis isn’t a muscle, but I can’t help thinking less might be more, I.e. Good workouts about 3 days a week, giving the penis ample time for recovery in the days in between.

However, many guys seemed to have had great gains PE’ing 5 and even 6 days a week over the years. So is there any specific trend or correlation between amount of gain/shortest time and PE workout frequency? Which one of you vets have had great gains PE’ing 3 days a week or so? Have any of you arrived at any conclusion through trial and error, or have you only stuck to a certain number of days a week and not switched up to determine what frequency is best for gains?

I’m still at the beginning of my serious PE journey, so I’d hate to not maximize my gains because of either under-training or over-training. Any observations and feedback is appreciated. Thanks!

Even though I’m a newbie myself, I would have to say that you answered your own question in the first paragraph. Some guys may be able to PE all week and feel fine, others would be found in the fetal position, in a corner of their bedrooms crying if they attempted such a feat. The only way to find out what works for you is to try different frequencies and see which one give you the best gains. It may be that less is really more for your particular penis or it may like to be handled constantly and consistently for the best gains. You won’t know until you try.

You’re better off at the start to under-train rather than over-train. You’re right; the optimal training interval varies considerably from man to man, and for me, day to day, week to week, month to month.

A really good thread for you to read is Physiologic Indicators (PIs) to help growth!. I base my routine on my PIs.

Thanks guys. I’m going to heed your advice Lampwick, and be on the more cautious (under-training) side to start with (3 days a week), while trying to stay as aware as possible of my PIs.

I have maintained a routine of workouts on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday. With rest days on Wednesday and the weekend. You will find that rest days are important. I use the rest days to monitor my progress and check my indicators. I have also been careful not to overtrain and listened to the good suggestions on the board. Lastly, I would offer that jelqing takes time to learn and I continue to read and re-read posts on jelqing techniques. I’ve varied my technique several times and I’ve been very lucky, in that the changes to my technique have yielded positive results, and no negative PI’s.

The 2 days on 1 day off route is working for me as of right now. I have taken an extra day off twice (today is one of those days) for slight soreness during the prior workout. More than two days off seems like backtracking to me unless of course you are feeling pain or soreness. Even taking an extra day off is bothering me, but I want to be safe.

I prefer the 2-3 day schedule for jelqing and ballooning also erect kegels and erect fowfers.

One to four days per week doing fowfers.

There’s your answer - there is no definite answer! You are new to PE and you need to understand that what works for one person might not work for others and vice-versa.

Those rest days are from jelqing or stretching? I don’t think it is necessary when we are talking about stretches.

I stretch everyday and jelq 1 on/1 off.

From what I gather, I’d probably be doing the absolute minimum by going 3 days a week. Perhaps I should go for 1 on, 1 off instead? My last workout was last night, with 20-some minutes of wet jelqing (3 seconds each). So far I haven’t noticed any negative PIs, and was planing to let two days go by before I workout again. But if I don’t see any negative PIs and do see some positive ones, does that mean that one day of rest (today) was probably enough, and that I should probably jelq again tomorrow as opposed to after tomorrow as previously planned? I just can’t help thinking that two days of rest and recovery is better for the penis than one.

Make a gradual change. Go to every other day as you’ve considered, or a four day a week schedule, and see how your body reacts. The Newbie Penis Enlargement Routine calls for two days on, one day off; that’s fourteen days on, seven days off over a three week period, or 4 and two-thirds sessions a week. You still have some room to increase your schedule before you even reach the intensity of the Newbie Routine, which is generally pretty safe. Nevertheless, let your PIs be your guide. The key is to work out enough to accomplish increase without overdoing. Monitoring your PIs will help with that. Don’t be a slave to a fixed schedule. If you go to one on, one off and that seems to be working out for you, stay with it and monitor your PIs and your measurements from time to time. If you feel like an additional rest day, or your PIs decline, back your schedule off a bit.

Personally I don’t do rest days when in a training cycle. I feel they diminish the fatigue I’ve manage to accumulate. If I miss one day it feels like going back to square one again.

5 times in a week is quite optimal, if you are >30 years of age consider 4 times,

It surly depends on how hard and long your PE routine is.
