So I have been checking that at the pulleys. I am a tall fit guy and I can pull and hold for a few minuts with no much of a problem 10kilos (25pounds) with both hands simulatian SD to both sides. To both sides aiding the stetch with the other arm passing behind the back also 10 kilos with no problem. SO is pretty complicated, I think with 5 kilos I had problems. I will check sitting down. I have noticed than when i did the test my arms were straigh (elbow blocked) and when you are stretching (except with the one your are stretching to both sides aiding with the other arm behind the back) flexioning the elbow, so the force you can apply seems to be different. I will do different tests and add here new data.

So how can one possibly gain hanging if he is stretching already 1h a day like me and not gaining? How can one tell me I would still gain with extenders applying a lot of less force?

Anybody has tried this test? Please share here for the community. I find it interesting

Do you mean using boht hands you could hold10 kg or 20 kg? It’s not clear to me.

I don’t see how your simulation has any relation to penile reality. Your arms are not a penis. Nobody will have a proven answer to your question anyway. Only theory. But one theory is that the heavier weight engages a neuromuscular reflex/protective mechanism which blocks stimulation of growth factors.

Marinera. I put the pulley up high. Then I take the cord and pull it down with one hand and I help holding it down with the other hand. I can hold 10kilos like that easily. The grip of the pulley cord is better that the grip you can make grasping your dick I think. But with toilet paper you can also make a very good grip with your dick.

So my guess is that one can hold a good stretching SD of 20-25 pounds…. Like 8-10kilos.

SO is absolutely more complicated. With just 5 kilos you got problems holding, even with two hands.

To the sides as I said one seems to be able to hold also 10 kilos if you use both hands, one behind the back as I said. To the sides is a very good simulation as the exit point is similar in the dick case. I don’t find SD simulation so good as the exit point is much lower in the dick case.

Ectopasm. I am not sure I get what you mean neither that you get how’s the simulation. Ofc my arms aren’t a dick. In the simulation the dick is the cord of the pulley.

I can static hold about 250 pounds in each hand- -not really sure where this is going.

I think most of people can hold way more than that weigth for a few minutes Quim. The pulley rope is not between your legs.

omg… I thought this was easy to understand. I put the rope all the time between my legs (except to the sides test).

Of course you can hold 250 pounds and more, I just come from doing deadlift and I lift 250-300 pounds without problem and i could hold it for several minuts. But what I am talking about is that your use a pulley since its system allows you to simulate a dick stretch.

Last test was simulating my favourite stretch that allows you to use the mobile phone with the other hand confortably while you sit down. The stretch is: you sit down on the toilet. You pass your right hand behind your right tigh, you graps your dick by the corona using toilet paper and pull down or down-right if you use your tigh like a fulcrum. This position is fully confortable and the other hand is free. It’d be like stretching SD but closer to BTC. The test is: you put the pulley up high and you sit down on a bench and you pass the rope between your legs, get the grip with your right hand behind your tigh and pull down. You can hold 12,5Kg without problem.

So: The lower angle the more force you can apply and hold confortably with your arms!! For instance, simulating SU with the pulley down and the rope up between your legs. You can’t even hold 5kg for 3 seconds.

I really thing my tests make sense.

Ok. So 12.5 kg with one hand SD was easy to hold, right?

10kilos better with SD test, but with sitting down SD/BTC (dont know which one should be called) 12,5 was Ok, 15kilos was a bit too much to be considered confortable.

the only difference in the test I see is that the grip is not the same but I honestly find the grip with toilet paper with your dick as good as the one I had with the pulley.

Ok, thanks. 12,5 kg is about 27.5 lbs, so more than most of people would hang with. Have you tried simple SD stretches at the pulley? Without the thigh.

Yes, as I said with normal SD standing up I could hold 10kilos without problem… I will try 12,5kilos next time again… 15kilos was definately way too much.

Mind that people say growth hanging is produced from stress and stress is weight over time. I have never stretched for longer than 8 minuts with the “tigh SD-BTC” and I generally do 4-5 min.

I also want to add that the SD simulation test is the less realistic as i cannot put the rope between my legs (that is the only case) so the exit point is a bit different than in reality. With any other angle I find the simulation test quite realistic.

That’s what I was going to notice. Anyway you can do this very rough extimation: do a dip with a very narrow gip; at the top of the exercise, you are in a very similar position to SD simple stretch. I think most of people (who are fit and trained) can hold theirs own bodyweight for 1 minute if not more. Which can give you an idea of how much force you can apply with your hands in a simple SD stretch.
