John Holmes & Danny D - thoughts anyone?

First let me say that we all shouldn’t watch too much porn (nofap and all that) but does anyone have any thoughts on John Holmes and Danny D?

It’s an extremely obvious similarity that both are skinny white dudes with ginormous dicks.

As best I can tell from forum posts found on Google, Holmes is likely 8.5” x 6.5” and Danny is likely 8.5” x 6” — does anyone agree or dispute this?

And would it be safe to say that nearly all pro-level porn scenes today are done with the male on Viagra? (Does Danny D likely use Viagra?) The reason I’m asking is that John Holmes was notorious for barely having an erection in scenes. How would he have fared today with Viagra?

It’s all speculation and hypothesis man. I am old, like 48 now, and I have never seen a John Holmes scene, but he was supposed to have been absolutely huge. Danny D is huge himself, but this is the first I’ve heard of him being compared to Holmes. I suppose I’ll have to go do some “research” now.

I have been reading a lot about ED medication use in the industry. I know some use it, but not all. And I don’t know if I’d say a majority of them do. Though it’s possible. But most of the big name, top male performers don’t, and would tell you that if you need that stuff to play the game, you probably shouldn’t be playing in the first place. As far as Holmes is concerned, of course he would have benefited from Viagra/Cialis. He also would have benefited from a healthier lifestyle and not using hard drugs. But it was the wild West in those days. People actually thought, and said publicly that cocaine wasn’t addictive.

NBP 8.5” x 6” sounds fair.

I’ve clicked few scenes, and when I push pubic fat, it looks more or less same. But it’s hard to say, because I’m pretty sure most of people won’t visually notice difference between 6 and 6.5 girth. It’s easier with length, but then again height, hands and bodytype affect that significantly.

IMHO, for Danny D 8.5 x 6 seems very plausible for him. These guys are not 9".

Not only that, there’s another practicality — the ability to shoot more video footage. I’ve read that sometimes they’ll do the popshot early on, then film the rest of the scenes with the Viagra-induced erection. (In other words, you can do a wider variety of scenes with a long-term Viagra erection)

I watched a lot of John Holmes vids years ago, always looked like he pumped to me.

Danny D being about 8.5” BPEL x 6” sounds probably right to me. He’s pretty skinny so take 0.25” or so off of that for NBPEL and that’s why it looks so big compared to some of us when looking down.

That said, I’d love to have those numbers someday (esp the NBPEL one). Also in terms of guys over 9”, the only 2 that really come to mind are Mandingo and Diesel…both of them must be in the 9 to almost 10 range.
