Jelqs, how do I know if I'm doing them right

I just started out for real yesterday, and I already feel like I’ve made some progress. I get erection easier, my dick looks thicker, and it’s more veiny.

I have a question about jelqing though. When you train a muscle, it usually feels kind of ‘stretched’, and hurts a little when doing excercises. So far, I’ve assumed that your supposed to feel the same thing while jelqing.
Sort of.. Feeling the bloodpressure behind your glans when you press your hand forward. Is that correct?

Or should I ease it a bit up, so I don’t feel a thing?

Generally speaking yes you should feel the pressure from each jelq stroke you do when you move the blood up the shaft and the pressure builds at the end of the shaft where the head is… I think the key to girth gains is to get this pressure type feeling all along the shaft, which means you will need to do things like Horse440’s, squeezes, and clamping, but ask someone else who is better at jelqing, I just recently started jelqing seriosuly the past couple days to give me better bloodflow after hanging and manual stretching for a while and I do know for sure that if anything jelqing if done correctly will make your penis healthier.

Also generally speaking when you do PE you should try to go for a fatigue/soreness type feeling either in your shaft or in the lig area at the base of your penis where it comes out where you targetingfor gains. Then when you are done PE’ing just rest or sleep until there is no more soreness and that means your dick healed and hopefully little gains have been made. I have made great gains with this mentality so far. It’s just like working out a muscle. You pump weight hard and get that sore feeling, then you rest enough so the micro-tears in the muscle fiber are healed and grown stronger.

You share the excact point of view as me. I generally focus on trying to get the same soreness, as I get from sport and muscle excercises.

I get sore at the tip of my penis, and in the middle. I don’t get sore at the base though, and I’ve been wondering how to train that area, other than doing kegels while keeping the blood from entering the penis.

Thanks for the theories, I’m glad to see I’m on the right track.

I’m still in doubt whether my training-session intervals are good though. I usually do ULI’s, kegels, stretches, and jelqing in 10 minute sessions, 6-8 times during the day. I do it everytime I take a leak, everytime there is a lunch-break, and basically every second hour or so.

Considering I’m a smoker, the cells probably heal at a slower rate than their supposed to. So I’m kind of working according to the theory, that I smash new cells to bits whenever they are about to rebuild, forcing my body to make stronger replacement during sleep.

It a sticky. All the main LOT threads are there.

But the LOT is only a THEORY. It has been disproved a few times, so dont read too much into it.

I think you may be overdoing it.

Are you a newbie? If so, then i’d leave the Ulis for a while.

More isnt always best. Ive been gaining from minimal PE.

The “rule” is - If youre gaining from your routine, dont change it”

A member of another forum advised me to jelq until your penis feels “squishy” or like “play dough”. He said thats when you break down the cells to get the best gains.

The key to jelquing for me is to not count how many your doing, just do them until you get tired of doing them. That way you dont get as bored with them if you just count 1,2,3,4 and so on, youll end up doing more in the long run anyway. I kegel before each jelq to add some extra excitment as well!

I am also still trrying to get the hang of jelqing. Today I’m pretty sure I did several jelqs at near full erection.. About how firm should the penis “feel” should it still be a little floppy? (I am trying for any gain I can get but as I have read I think I want more length initially so I can focus on girth more later) today and yesterdays session my penis got a smorgasbrod of different firmness level jelqs, from semi flacid to semi hard. Maybe thats the best of both worlds?

One thing I noticed is that the head of the penis gets darker during a jelq, that must mean I’m doing something right.

I never see any pin prick burst capilaries, or maybe I just don’t know what I’m looking for, are there pics of this phenomenon?

The thing I’m most unsure of is the grip and the whole “aving constant even internal pressure” for duration of jelq/ and the tming of each one. I do an overhand ok grip.. Should there be a firm seal at all angles, just the sides? Or just the sides and bottom of the shaft? And is there anything wrong with doing a five count jelq as opposed to a three count one?

True chimera, I got tired of couting. I also do them in sets of ten or 20, because after that the erection dies down too muc. I can’t watch porn while doing it because there are other people in the house. I’m confined to te bathroom.
